"Do I have to gooooo?" I complained to my dad.

"Are you kidding me?" He said taking a quick glance to the back seat. "Bea Annette LeBeau, you know I can't do anything about your teenage hormonal drama. So just shut up and let me drive this new car peacefully."

All of us, including my 12 year old brother and my pug, Jaspar shut up. Finally after a long and serene journey we arrived at Midton Prep, home of the Golden Blue Dragon. I went down our brand new SUV alongside my brother. I grabbed my Herschel backpack when my brother pointed out to me something so usual here at Midton Prep.

"Isn't it way too early to ask someone out to be their date for Homecoming?" Joe said furrowing his bushy brows and squinting his bright green eyes.

"Want to know the reason why they asked them out on the first day of hell Joe?" I asked him wondering if he really was that curious.

"Sure." Joe said smugly as we were both heading towards our classes.

"Well," I started. "legend has it anyone who asked and was asked to homecoming on the first day of school will be crowned King and Queen for the senior prom."

Joe looked at me with a what the fuck face.

"Well Bea looks like we're parting ways now." Joe said, with crocodile tears

"Oh shut it Joe. You're making me barf." I said jokingly. My brother gave me the finger and went to his class. While I went to Homeroom. I looked at my schedule. Shit Calculus is after Homeroom :(. Now Mondays have gotten worse.

------------------

I went inside the classroom and I saw a lot of familiar faces and particularly 3 unfamiliar people. Two of which were twin sisters which have the same hairstyle braided updo and one was a boy with a longer on top haircut.

I sat near the window because I can obviously space out that way. I looked around the room, no sign of him. Well that was a good start, the first good thing that happened to me all year long really. I looked at my mint green watch that unexpectedly went well with our school's uniform. 7:47.

Ughhhhh. 13 more minutes. And with that being said I chose to snooze.

"Oh shit!" I cussed as I ran to our classroom.

"I won't be late this year!" I said determined.

I finally arrived at the door to where our classes will be held. Commonly known as the 4 walled-room of terror. I pushed open the door to see only one vacant seat left. Fuck this day.
