🙄Above is a picture of how I imagine Skye looks.

Skye's P.O.V.
April and I are sitting on my balcony on the white daybed, talking and trying to study for our upcoming geography test. Pastel pink flash cards lye abandoned on the glass coffee table along with our thick Humanities textbooks and an assortment of ballpoint pens. I yawn and stretch out my legs, looking out towards the blue ocean.
"Skye, did anything happen with Jamie today, or did he just ignore you?" April asks suddenly, and I turn my head sharply to look at her. She is staring out at the ocean too, unaware of the turmoil going on in my mind. I consider lying to her, but she's going to find out eventually and I don't want any more drama in my life at the moment. I still can't help squirming at thought of what I'm about to tell her, however.
"Um, actually, he didn't ignore me," I murmur quietly, not wanting Leo to hear me talking. His room is the one located right next to mine, and I can see that his balcony door is open. I don't want to take the chance that he might hear us talking about Jamie, so I grab April's arm and drag her inside, sliding the glass door closed behind us. She throws herself onto my white king sized bed, staring up at me questioningly.
"What do mean he didn't ignore you? Did he talk to you? Why didn't you tell me?" she rattles off a list questions and I wait until she's quiet before saying anything.
"I didn't tell you because it was just so weird and awkward, and I didn't want anyone to overhear us at school... although that was kind of stupid because in a few days everyone will know about it," I say, flopping onto the bed next to April.
"Know about what?" she groans impatiently, "will you just tell me?"
"Me and Jamie are dating," I say quietly, blushing furiously as April's blue eyes widen. "It's so not like what you're thinking!" I exclaim quickly, seeing the look of excitement dawning on April's face. "He made me, I don't want-"
"OH MY GOSH YOU'RE DATING JAMIE BAKER WHAT THE FÛCK!" April screams, jumping off the bed and dancing around the room energetically. A crash comes from inside Leo's room and I hear his door slam open.
"April, shut up!" I screech, even though it's already too late. April claps a hand over her mouth as Leo bursts into my room.
"Oops," she whispers, looking at me guiltily. I shoot her a glare and then turn to Leo, who's opening his mouth about to say something. I cut him off hurriedly.
"Okay, before you tell me that I'm not allowed to date Jamie, can I just remind you that you're not the boss of me, I have my own life and you have to knock when you come in my room!" I blurt, putting my hands on my hips. Leo doesn't even blink.
"And I'm just gonna remind you that as your older brother, it's my duty to look after you and make sure that you don't get hurt!" he snaps, clenching his fists so hard his knuckles turn white.
"Um, no. Your job as my older brother is to steal my phone charger, eat all my skittles, trash my room and basically just piss the hell out of me. Or at least that's what you've been doing for the past sixteen years of my life! You can't just decide now that you want to protect me from the world, not when I'm finally starting to have a little fun!" I snap back at him. Leo scowls darkly.
"I've been protecting you for almost your whole life, you just haven't realised it," he growls, backing out of my room, "and just so you know, there is no way I'm ever letting you date Jamie."
