Paloma's POV
For the second time, I woke up not knowing where I am. My elbow hit wood. great. I'm back in the little containment center. I sigh.
"Hey guys."
Muttered hellos from the rest of the boys.
"I'm guessing the little box is surrounded by people making sure I can't get out, right?"
"Yup!" Someone calls from outside. then I remember. Matt was the one who drugged me in the first place. He's one of them. That little- the truck stops moving. The sliding door groans open. I listen intently. You know, kind of like what Liam Neeson does in Taken 2 to find out where he is? I don't hear city anymore. Shit.
The boys might know how long ago it was when we were out of the city.
"Niall"
"What?"
"How long ago was it when you couldn't hear the city any more?"
He was silent for a moment. "About half an hour."
Okay, this limits my options a bit. so we could either be close to Norton in the west, the border to New Hampshire in the north, or Taunton in the south.(A/N: If you know Massachusetts, you know what I'm talking about. If you don't, there just towns going every direction from Boston except for the east cuz that would be the ocean.)
We begin to be lifted out. I can feel whoever's carrying us starting to struggle. I move around as much as I can to piss them off.
"This girl's wicked annoying, Matt!" Fricking Matt. I swear, when I get out of here I will kick his ass.
"Just deal with it," Matt says. We're going into a building now. Down a long hallway... Louis whimpers. I soften a little. I had been so focused with getting out I had forgot there were three other people in the same situation who were just plain out scared.
"Louis," I say softly. I hear him sniffle. "Y-yeah?" "You're going to be okay. trust me. I'll make sure you all are." And with that, we are dumped out of the crate.
We're in a dingy room, kind of like the one I was in a couple years ago. At least I knew where I was for the most part with that one. I have no idea where I am right now. Matt's standing infront of me.
I try to lunge at him, only getting yanked back by to guys- assholes, might I mention. He tuts.
"Oh, 'Loma. You always were feisty."
"Shut the hell up and get the f**k away from me." I snarl while gritting my teeth.
He smirks. "If you were smart, you would hold your tongue, because I'll just take it out on them."
I look at the three boybanders sitting next to me, terrified. There are tears streaked down Zayn's face. In that moment, I realize that I don't care if I get out of here, I just have to make sure they do.
"I'll leave you alone for a bit, but I'll be back. Oh, and I'm taking these two with me. " He yanks up Louis and Zayn by the arm.
I scream in frustration. Matt just grins and walks out of the room, the boys' eyes pleading with me to help them. Matt's little friends also leave. So I'm with Niall.
He looks at me wide-eyed, but there's also something else mixed in. longing. I throw my arms around him. He smells surprisingly good for being stuck in a crate for a couple hours. We stay like that for a while. I think I still like him. although it's been years, I still have butterflies every time I look at him.
