"Wow. You know what Thomas? Just wow!" Hanna said. She swam to the side of the pool and got out. She turned to face us again. "I thought that you believed me! Well I guess not!" Hanna said and stormed off.
Kaya and I swam to the side of the pool and got out as well. We both ran inside the house after Hanna.
"Hanna?" I called.
"I'm in Kaya's room!" Hanna said.
Kaya and I walked through the long hallway and ran up the stairs, then went into Kaya's room.
Hanna was sitting on the floor with a towel wrapped around her hair, and crying.
"Hanna, what's wrong? Are you okay?" I asked.
"No." Hanna said.
"Why are you crying?" I asked.
"It-its Thomas. I just can't believe that after all this time he still doesn't believe me! I mean I get that he wants to look out for Dylan and Dylan would do the same thing for Thomas, but Dylan trusts me again, and Thomas needs to realize that." Hanna said.
"Hanna?" Kaya asked. "I think we should tell her the story."
Hanna nodded.
"What story?" I asked.
"Before I start, you need to know that Thomas and Dylan would do anything for each, they'd take a bullet for each other. Saying that they are best friends is an understatement. So when Thomas thought I cheated on him, well its easier to just tell you the story." Hanna said.
"It started about a year ago." Kaya said.
"Ya, and my ex-boyfriend kept calling my cell phone. Of course I would never answer it, I was with Dylan, and I wasn't too interested on what my ex had to say." Hanna said.
"But he kept calling, for two weeks straight!" Kaya said.
"So I finally answer it, I was going to tell him to stop calling me. So I was at school, in the cafeteria, when I answered the phone. When Thomas came up to me and decided to take my phone. He was trying to be funny, but then he looked down at the screen and it said the contact name of who I was talking to. Anyway I stupidly forgot to delete my ex-boyfriends contact from my phone, and the contact name was 'Boyfriend' with a heart emoji!" Hanna said.
"As she tells me all the time: 'not deleting his contact was the worst mistake she ever made.' Because Thomas thought that Hanna was talking to Dylan, because you know the contact was labeled 'boyfriend'! So he began to talk into the phone." Kaya said.
"Ya Thomas was all like: 'hey Dylan are you still coming to England next week?' And then my ex-boyfriend said something and Thomas ended the call, through my phone at me, grabbed me by the arm and pulled me out of the cafeteria and into the hallway so no one could here us." Hanna said, she burst into tears, remembering what happened.
"Then Thomas started to yell at her saying stuff like 'you're cheating on my best friend!?!!' 'He deserves better than you!' 'I thought you were better than this' and other things I won't repeat." Kaya said.
"Anyway he was REALLY mad! And after he yelled at me he immediately went and got his phone and told Dylan that I was 'cheating on him'!" Hanna said.
"So then that weekend, Dylan comes to England for a visit, which he does once a month, and breaks up with Hanna. He was furious. Hanna then told him the truth. Dylan sort of believed her but it took him a few weeks for him to forgive her, believe her, and for her to regain his trust."Kaya said.
" but Thomas on the other hand still didn't trust me. And Thomas and I only became friends again a few weeks ago. He was angry at me for months!" Hanna said. "So now tonight when he asked me if I cheated?! That was it. Im just so ANGRY at him!"
