Arizona's POV
"C'mon, Zona...get off my back." Dallas complains, his knees buckling. "Dal-Dal, don't drop me! You agreed to carry me the whole way, 'member?!" I exclaim, my voice cracking slightly. "Don't call me that," He growls as I climb further up his back. "You're a bit old for piggyback rides, Zona. Hate to break it to ya'." I shake my head, a giggle erupting from my lips. "You're damn heavy, too." he says, grinning. "You watch your mouth, Dallas." I glare down at him playfully. We were on our way to the corner of Pickett and Sutton to meet up with Ponyboy, Johnny, and Two-Bit. I wanted to walk the whole way myself, but Dally wouldn't have any of that. So, I was making him pay for it by doing any annoying thing I could imagine on the way there. We were supposed to see a movie at the Nightly Double. Which, I didn't know...but I figured it would be nice to have fun with the boys, anyway. "Hey, look. There's the corner," he says suddenly, dropping me. I catch myself just in time and thankfully end up landing on my feet. "Not fair! We aren't even near the sign. It's like, twelve feet away, Dally," I whine. "Ya' got feet, use 'em." he replies smoothly. I exhale heavily. "Damn you," I mumble. "Love you too. Now get a move on, you see that they're waitin'." He walks towards the corner, and I don't even have to see his face to know that he's smirking. "Hey!" Ponyboy calls to me, nudging the two boys next to him. "Hi," I reply, smiling at him. "Two was gettin' worried, thought you two weren't comin'," he says. "Oh, Two ain't worried about me." Dallas replies, glaring in Two-Bit's direction. "Well, we're here. Nothin' to worry about." I make my way over to Two-Bit who has been staring at his feet for an awfully long amount of time. "Hey, Two," I smile at him. He suddenly looks up, a grin slowly creeping its way onto his face. On my first day back to Tulsa, I didn't know what to make of Two. All I did know was that I thought he was good-looking. But in a few short weeks, I found that Two-Bit was simply someone who you couldn't not like, and I liked to think that we bonded somehow. "Don't worry, Dal ain't gonna' kill ya'." I laugh suddenly, and Two-Bit joins in. "I know, baby." He winks at me and I can practically see the steam radiating off of Dally. "Who you callin' baby?!" he yells. "Dally, you know as much as I do tha' Two calls every girl he meets 'baby,' it's really nothin' to get worked up about. Stop overreactin'!" He simply stares at me. "Besides, you know Johnnycake don't like yellin'," I whisper in his ear. He grunts. "Okay, fine. Now, let's get goin', we are seein' a movie, ain't we?" I ask. "Y-Yeah," Ponyboy squeaks. "You okay, Pony?" I ask. "Fine, just thought Dal was gonna' do somethin' he would regret later...for a second." he whispers. "It's good, trust me." I run a hand through his hair soothingly. Two-Bit smiles at me. "Really now, let's go." I say, walking in the direction of the Nightly Double.

I guess you could say I was in an...interesting position. Dally was sitting next to me, practically steaming, again. When we arrived at the Nightly Double, Two-Bit immediately had wanted to take a seat next to me, and Dally had suggested that he didn't―and not very politely, may I add―eventually, they came up with a compromise; Two got the seat to the right of me, and Dallas to the left. But as I said before, Dally clearly wasn't happy. Ponyboy and Johnny were sitting behind us, clearly interested in the movie. I begin watching the movie myself, blankly. Suddenly, I feel an arm wrap around me. I turn to my right to see Two-Bit smirking and watching the movie. "Two, what are you doin'? Dal's gonna' be pissed if he catches ya'," I whisper in his ear, biting my lip after. I didn't want to admit it, but I liked the feeling of his arm around me. I felt safe. I just didn't want Dally to hurt him...we all knew how protective Dally could be. The one time a Soc looked at me the 'wrong way,' he ended up with a black eye. "I ain't worried about 'im, baby." He whispers back, his smirk widening into a grin. "Two...seriously though, why?" I ask. "If ya' haven't noticed, I like ya', babe," I had noticed how the rest of the boys teased him when I was around, but I just thought they were being smart about mine and Two's friendship. "R-Really?" I stare at him. "Yeah, Ari. What's not ta' like? You're the kindest, smartest, most beautiful girl I've ever seen, and you're blond! Not to mention you've got the body of an angel. Ya' know, I've been thinkin'...ya' wanna' go on a date sometime?" His eyes twinkle with hope and I blush. "Of course, Two-" I begin, but am suddenly cut off by Dallas's yells. "Two-Bit?! Why is your arm around my kid sister?!" Curses are erupting from Dally's mouth like wildfire. "Dal, stop. I really have taken a likin' to Two, 'kay? We're uh- we're gonna' go out sometime," I admit, looking over to Two-Bit who is smiling like I've never seen him before. In fact he looked...proud. "You're what?! Hell no! Hell no! You ain't doin' nothin' with her, Two! I'll skin ya'!" Dallas begins to stand up and I push him down before he reaches Two-Bit. I see Johnny put his hand on Dallas's shoulder and suddenly, Dally is frozen. "Thanks, Johnny. Dally, please calm down, okay? Please? I never say anything about the girls you've dated in the past. Hell, not even Sylvia!" Dallas nods and exhales loudly. "Fine, but I still don't like it," he growls. I smile at him. "Thanks, Dally," Two-Bit says. "I really like her, man. She's everythin' I've ever wanted, and shit that sounds cheesy but-" Dallas stops him. "Yeah, yeah." he says. "Well, how about Two and I go get some popcorn and Cokes?" I ask, looking at Dally with pleading eyes. "Okay, go ahead," he sighs.

Two-Bit walked me to the building where we could buy the Cokes and popcorn. Two-Bit brushes his hand against mine and I giggle softly. "What was that?" he asks. A smirk makes its way onto his face. "Oh, nothin'," I purr. "I'll show you nothin'..." He pulls me into a kiss. I move my lips against his, happily. I've never really kissed a boy before...I mean, I did once, but it was a dare, so I was guessing that it didn't count. Two-Bit's lips were soft and gentle. It was too good to be true. "Hey, greaser, how'd you bag a broad that good?" I hear a voice ask. A Soc, no doubt. Two-Bit moves his lips away from mine and we both turn in the direction of the voice. "She ain't no broad! Ya' better get outta' here, too. Unless you're lookin' for a fight?" he snarls. I look up at him with pleading eyes. "Two, it's not worth it. C'mon, let's get the things and go," I kiss his cheek. "Ha, got her brainwashed, haven't ya' greaser? She's too good for ya'." I glare at the tall brunette boy in front of us. "You shut your mouth, Soc. Besides, even if I wasn't with Two, you wouldn't have a damn chance." I say. Two-Bit grins and wraps his arm around my shoulders. We grab the Cokes and popcorn and begin walking back to our seats. "Hey, Two...why me?" I ask suddenly. "Why not you? I already told you, baby," He moves closer to me. "You're everythin'. Perfect, even." I blush and then he's kissing me again. When we stop for air, I giggle. "Two, I ain't perfect...even if that was the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me. Hey, are you goin' soft?" I raise an eyebrow and smirk. "Mm, baby. I'll be anythin' ya' want me to be. Ya' dig?" He places a kiss on my neck and we finally arrive at our destination. I was actually very surprised to see that Dallas had calmed down. Maybe he really was starting to accept what was happening between Two and I. Once we handed out the Cokes and popcorn, we take our seats once again. I lay my head on Two-Bit's shoulder and he smiles down at me. I was really starting to like Tulsa.
