The plane landed with a light bump waking up Cara , who sat next to me , her dark honey hair looked like a total mess , her natural curls tied into a bun. Because we're sisters everyone tought that we'd have similar features , but somehow I had long straight hazel hair and honey coloured eyes and Cara that gorgeous shade of honey hair and dark brown eyes. Maybe she got the good genes , being four years older and stuff.
" - Hey , have you slept at all?" Cara had a teasing smile on her face. "You do know that if you close your eyes London won't disappear."
" - Yeah , I know , but It's so exciting! I guess I'm afraid that if I close my eyes I'll find out that it's just a dream." I looked at her shyly and she hugged me.
" - You silly sixteen-year-old! I love you." She said and she kissed my cheek.
" - Me too. I mean for both." We smiled at each other and waited for the plane to stop.

Soon after we got off the plane we found our luggage and went after mom and dad to get a cab. I think I'll get used pretty fast to these black ones.
We arrived in a sort of neighborhood called Wembley , close to the Wembley Stadium. Our new house was astonishing. It had a front porch in the of wich a massive black door stood.
" - Here we are." said mom with a large smile on her face looking at dad , who had a similar expression. They were so different , mom with dark brown hair and gray eyes and dad , fair haired with green eyes , yet they were so alike in height and gestures.
" - Why are we still standing here? Let's go inside. We have a lot of unpacking to do , remember?" Cara said while taking out bags from the car and heading to the front door.
" - You heard her , let's go." said dad and followed mom to the car.

The inside was amazing , the door opening into a large living room , already furnished just like the rest of the house thanks to our parents who came and took care of it. Half walls separated the living from the kitchen that was filled with counters that had the colour of oak wood and the latest appliances. On the left of the kitchen was a hallway that led to our rooms , each with their own bathroom. I entered in my room through the orange door and looked at the large bed with sheets with green , yellow and blue stripes sided by two matching endtables. The walls were painted blue , one of them covered by bookcases and shelves for my book collection. A desk was placed nearby the bed and above the bathroom door went the tv cable for my flatscreen tv placed on the door's left. I started to unpack , starting with my books and finishing with the clothes , that I put in a separate wardrobe room on the right side of the bathroom door.
" - Em , come , dinner's ready." Cara stuck her head in the room saying with a smile and also bringing the smell of pasta bolognese.
" - Great , I'm starving." And smiled back , following the delicious smell into the kitchen.
" - Emma , please help your dad set the table and Cara , go take that trash out." Said mom , while stirring the pasta.

Cara came in right when me and dad were done , and all of us grabbed a plate and sat at the table , talking and enjoying the pasta.
" - So , Em first day of school tomorrow , eh?" Asked dad with an amused grin on his face , some pasta hanging from his fork.
" - Yeah , actually I'm looking forward to it." I was actually more thrilled to meet my new classmates than school itself , but it's the same thing , really.
" - You got everything you needed?" Mom , apparently unable to help but ask for the hundred time.
" - Yes , mom , dad , we went through this already a milion times before." Like seriously where are they when we talk?
" - Just making sure." Said mom chuckling.
" - So that we can relax." Completed unnecessarily dad. They were slightly starting to piss me off.
The rest of the evening was just casual stuff , and after helping mom to wash the dishes I went to my room and watched TV. It's again the TVD season finale in wich Damon dies , oh , such a sad episode! I cried for days. Unfortunately , I fell asleep before the ending.
