Chapter 5

The next morning I woke up with my face wet. I must've cried in my sleep. I got up and went to take a shower. I let the warm water to wash away all my thoughts about Aaron , let the shampoo wash the tears from my hair and stepped out of the bathroom still feelenig sad but mostly mad.
After drying my hair I picked up the phone and called Tessa and Izzy asking them to meet me at Starbucks. I got into the car and drove for fifthteen minutes. There , in front of the cafe were Tessa and Izzy.
" - Hy girls." I said rather grumpy.
" - Hy." They both said , Tessa looking worried and Izzy annoyed.
" - Let's go inside." And I pushed the door into the coffe shop , the smell of fresh made coffe and cinnamon hitting me.
After we all got a Pumpkin Spice Latte we sat an izolated table and talked.
" - I can't believe he asked her out." Said Izzy surprised with a disgusted grin on her face , framed by her long black hair.
" - Me neighter. He was clearely into you." Said Tessa whose gray eyes looked suspicius. "Something isn't right."
" - Please do tell me when you find out." I rolled my eyes and looked disappointed at my cup of delicious coffe.
" - I've got an idea" Tessa looked at me and Izzy and said cheerfully "let's go to a party!"
" - Yeah , great ideea Tessa! I can even say that it's the first one this year." Izzy said looking amused at Tessa who was rolling her eyes.
" - What do you say , Em?" She said looking at me with begging puppy eyes.
" - A party? Aren't Aaron and Sofi going to be there?" I hated to be the buzz killer but it was true.
" - So what? You can't run and hide from them all your life! Let's go have some fun , pleaseee!" They both started begging me until I gave up.
" - Okay , okay , we'll go. But , first we need to do some shopping. Are you with me?" They both smiled at me and nodded.
We went to the mall and tried on an impossible amount of clothes from H &M , Forever 21 , Target and New Yorker. After we all got ourselves an amazing outfit and drank a fresh fruit smoothie , we went to my place to get ready.
" - Nice room." Said Tessa while curling her brown hair. "Suits you."
" - Thanks." I looked at my outfit. I've bought a cocktail dark green dress , a brown pair of knee-high sandals without heels and a matching set of golden bracelets , rings and earrings. I watched Izzy getting out of the bathroom wearing a tight black dress that left little to the imagination , very high stiletto heels and her long black hair was in an Ariana Grande style ponytail.
" - Em , go get dressed , the party starts in half an hour and I want to be only one hour late!" She said while applying mascara for like the fifth time already.
" - I'm going , and , please stop. Your mascara is perfect you'll ruin it." I entered the bathroom , brushed my teeth and changed. I actually looked good. I came out and saw that Theresa was ready as well , her pale red dress making her messy bun look classy , her look being completed by white flats.
" - You both look great." Said Tessa smiling. "But I look better." She winked and we all started laughing.
" - Ready?" I asked anxiously.
" - As I'll ever get." Said Izzy grabbing Tessa's and my hand and dragging us out of the house to my car. "Let's do this." And I took off.
