(Chapin's POV)
I was sitting in my bedroom, bored. My homework was done and I still had a couple of hours before I had to go to bed. I'm still deciding what to do. Watch youtube videos, or play games on my phone? No. What about watching T.V? Not that either, I keep answering myself. I sigh and then I stand up and pace around my room for a minute. I stopped when I came across my window. It overlooks my back yard with a tall fence blocking out the forrest. So many trees. I know what I can do. I can go on an adventure!
I grab my jacket, a pencil, a notebook, and put my shoes on. At least it isn't muddy to where my shoes will be dirty for tomorrow. I walk downstairs and I tell my mom I'm going on an adventure. She says okay and to stay safe. I walk out the back door and go to the fence.
I look for a way to get on the other side, but there is not an entrance to go through. I see a path on the other side of the fence. I wonder what it leads to. Eventually, I slide my notebook under the fence and I put my pencil through the fence hole. I grab onto the fence and start climbing. A couple of seconds later, I reach the top. Soon I jump down hoping I don't get caught on the tips. When I jump down, I stumble onto my knees. I stand up to find dirt on my knees and I brush them off as I continue my journey.
I'm walking and I pass some things like an old shoe. I wonder how that got there. Then I ask myself if there are any cute animals out here like chipmunks or squirrels. I pass a cool looking rock. It's a green moldy color. I keep walking wondering how far deep I am into the forest.
I find the end of the dirt path and see what looks like fuzz or something. It was spread out and separated. I see a strip of fur, but I'm wondering how it got here, and when. I go up to it and feel it to see if it's real. It's nappy and greasy, it's definitely real. I had a weird idea to lay on it for some reason. It was something I had to do. I'm weird so I felt like I needed to. I go lay on it and I'm thinking, what is wrong with me. I close my eyes hoping no one could see me. Then I feel a weird, heavy sensation floating around me. It feels as if I were suffocating, like I'm about to die. Then my eyes slowly drift open.
