The next morning I woke up with a happy warm fuzzy feeling inside
I knew I was going to see Cody . I jumped out of my bed and threw my clothes on. I ran down the stairs as fast as my legs could carry me .
"Whoa whoa sweetie what's the hurry ?" Mom halted me at the entrance of the door.
"I'm just excited to go to football practice !" I lied avoiding her gaze.
"Well , I'm glad to hear that ur mom would be very proud of you. But I think you should still do the play, I would love to see it!" Mom squealed surprising me.
"Um ok ? Well I better get going ." I said awkwardly while pushing the door open and stepping outside
