Surfing

Amelia's POV

After that drama session I stayed away from Harry, and instead decided to go surfing! The waves were actually quite big today, and had perfect breaks. I stripped of my top and shorts (I'm wearing a bikini for all you sick minded people) and grabbed my surfboard. Liam walked in front of me on my way down to the water.

"You surf?" He questioned raising an eyebrow.

I scoffed at his question, I hate how guys think girls can't do anything they can do it's just so... sexist. I tried to step around Liam, but he blocked my way again.

"Woah! Slow down missy! I didn't mean to offend you I surf too." He said smiling.

"Well do you want to join me?" I asked, secretly hoping he'd say no. Now don't go all she's so bitchy! I just like to have my alone surfing time, it helps clear my head.

"Sure!" He said happily.

I mentally sighed, but pointed him over to the boards. He quickly took off his shirt so he was in just his togs. Damn! This boy has abs! Look away Lia! Look away! He picked up the board and walked down the sand with me.

Liam's POV

This girl is so beautiful; she has the most amazing smile. I also found out she likes surfing! Score! I decided to take up her offer and surf with her, let's just hope she isn't better than me that would be embarrassing. I wondered what Harry had done to make her so upset, I mean sure Harry is Harry but he is really, actually harmless. When I tried to push the subject she brushed it off and said she would explain later. After a few attempts I left it alone, obviously I wasn't getting it out of her today. We surfed the magnificent waves that were rolling in, I'm pretty sure she is a lot better than me, but then again she lives surrounded by the sea so she has an excuse for why, but she damn she is good!

Amelia's POV

Liam and I had been out in the water for about half an hour, he was pretty good, but he could work on some tricks. A huge wave was coming up, it was a beauty, I could tell it was going to be a tough ride, but who cares live while we're young right? I started to paddle as the wave came up behind me as soon as I knew I had caught it I stood up. It was one the most amazing feelings, I saw Liam hadn't taken the wave, oh well, as I started really riding the wave I slipped slightly on my board, I had just waxed it why was I slipping, as I was fixing my footing I lost complete balance, I felt the sensation of falling then I hit my head on something hard and everything went black.

Harry's POV

I was watching Liam and Lia playing around with each other and felt my jealousy grow, why do I have to be such a dick sometimes? Looked up to see Lia dropping into a massive wave. She was doing fine, but then she looked like her foot slid slightly, she looked down and frowned while trying to place her feet in the right position again but her other foot slipped and she started to fall, I jumped up before I even knew what I was doing a sprinted toward the water.

I am a fast swimmer, but swimming out to Lia I felt so slow, even though, I seemed to get there in record speed. Luckily she was still lying on her board, but she was out cold. I hauled myself up without tipping it and paddled her back to shore as quickly as I could.

Niall's POV

I saw an exhausted Harry paddling a girl on a surfboard, wait, that's Lia! I rushed to the edge of the water and lifted Lia off the board, Harry, picked it up and collapsed further up the sand. I saw Liam run to Harry and Louis run to my side.

"Is she breathing?" He asked frantically. I quickly checked her breathing and sighed with relief; wait back up the train, relief? Well it must be because I thought she was dead, no that wasn't it, then I realised. I like Lia.

Liam's POV

I rushed to Harry knowing Niall had Lia, phew! Harry was fine, he was just exhausted. After Harry could stand again we walked over to Lia, she was still unconscious, but Niall was calling the ambulance.

"S***! Why is it not working?" He yelled trying again.

"Niall calm down you're probably using U.K. digits," I said grabbing the phone.

I dialled 111 and hoped I was correct.

"Hello? Emergency services, what service do you require?" A voice calmly asked me.

"Ambulance," I stated.

"Putting you through now,"

I waited for another voice. When it came up I told them Lia's condition and where we were. They were here in about ten minutes. Louis and Niall looked ready to cry and Harry just looked distant. As the paramedics ran down the beach Lia's friends ran toward us.

"What's wrong? Where's Lia?" I think her name was Abby asked quickly. When she saw Lia on the gurney she screamed hysterically and rushed to her side her eyes brimming with tears.

"Lia? LIA?!!" She started screaming hysterically at Lia's unmoving body. Paramedics hauled her away from Lia.

"Do you mind taking her sir?" The paramedic said passing me Abby. I held her in my arms and tried to calm her. After a while she calmed down and I got a good look at her, she was absolutely gorgeous, stormy blue eyes that sparkled with tears and beautiful dark blonde hair a little past her shoulders. Forget feelings for Lia (no offence) I fell for Abby just standing there with her in my arms.

Louis' POV

I rounded up all the boys and I think her name is Abby? I don't know and we all piled into the bus. I drove as fast as I could without exceeding the speed limit, most of the time, but we needed to get to the hospital. I swear my heart stopped when I first saw Lia lying unmoving on the sand and I am trying desperately not to cry, I just hope she is okay. The paramedics wouldn't tell us anything. As we pulled up to the hospital I parked and jumped out of the car in record time and ran inside the building.
