Horses and Old Friends

Rose's P.O.V.

I am so excited to see Zony! I really hope he remembers me! Actually I'm excited I get to go riding. After the boys all got fitted, and fitted well might I add, we headed down to the stables. When we were finally there I stopped and turned to the boys.

"Now who can and can't ride?" I asked.

"Can't." Said Niall shyly.

"It's fine Niall, not everyone can," I said trying to make him feel less uncomfortable.

"Can." Said Harry.

"Can't." Said Zayn looking slightly anxious to try, I'll help him.

"Can!" Said Liam and Louis at the same time. (A/N: I don't actually know if the boys can ride or not! ;) )

"Well then, Niall and Zayn just stay close by me and if you need help call out!" I said cheerfully.

We rounded the corner to the stables. As we were walking in I was knocked to the side by something, or someone.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so... Lia?" A masculine voice said from beside me. I turned to see who it was and was surprised at the sight.

"Jake? Is that really you?" I squealed.

"Oh my gosh! I missed you so much!" My childhood friend shouted pulling me into a bone

crushing hug.

"So this is where you moved from quake city, Christchurch?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yep! I manage to get a job with the Jamiesons! Why are you here?" He asked.

"I moved here 5 years ago! I can't believe I haven't seen you around! Oh and um... I might be um... the Jamiesons long lost daughter?" I said making sound more like a question.

"Are you serious? That's so cool! Now um... who's this?" He said nodding toward the boys.

"Oh! This is Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn! The boys from One Direction!" I said happily.

"Now where is Zony?" I asked looking around.

"Who?"

"Zony? You know my horse? Oh wait um... In The Zone?" I asked remembering no one but my parents and I know Zony as Zony.

"Oh right! You third door to the left." Jake said smiling.

"Could you please also give these boys rides too? Niall and Zayn need some bomb proof horses and I think the others are fine with any mount." I explained the needs of the boys.

"Sure I'll grab the saddles and then show you to your mounts!" He said glancing at the boys before walking off.

As I walked closer to Zony's stall I got more and more excited to see my boy all grown up! I opened the stall to see my beautiful all grown up horse happily eating his hay.

"Hi beautiful" I said while i stroked his muzzle.

"I missed you so much" Tears started spilling down my cheeks as I wrapped my arms around his glistening neck.

After my little reunion I quickly tacked him up and lead him outside to mount him.

"Rose? How the heck do I get on?" I heard Niall call from behind me. I laughed and tied Zony up before going to assist Niall and Zayn.

It was an amazing ride, It was funny to watch Niall and Zayn ride, they looked really scared to start off but after a while they got the hang of it.

"I'll see you soon baby" I whispered as I closed the door on Zony's stall.

"Um... a little help?" Niall yelled

He was trying to dismount the horse but he ended up with one foot stuck on the stirrup, and him jumping around on one foot trying to get his foot off the stirrup.

"Here let me help, lean on me"

Niall leaned on me, i slid his foot out of the stirrup.

"Thanks Rose" he said looking sheepishly.

"No problem."

I grabbed hold of the reins, and started to walk the horse over to its stall; I grabbed some hay and gave it to the horse while I shut the door to the stall.

I turned around to see five faces.

"Hi, did you enjoy the ride?"

"Yeses, loved its and yeps" was thrown around.

"Yay! I have more friends to ride with!" (FYI I do have friends who can ride!)

Harry's POV

That ride was awesome! I haven't ridden in ages, but Rose looks so good in jodhpurs! (A/N: Jodhpurs are riding pants, they are also really tight!)

I have decided to ask her if she wants to go out tonight, I mean she already technically said yes but I need to tell her when. I don't know what to do though, I want to make it special but I don't know about many special places in New Zealand. So I went to the one person I thought could help, Rose's old friend Jake.

"Hey mate!" I said walking up to Jake.

"Um hi?"

"Look I haven't been here long but there is this special girl I really want to impress, any ideas on where to take her or what to do?"

"It's Rose isn't it?"

"How did you know?" I asked. Was it that obvious?

"Bro, you look at her like you won't see her ever again and you're making sure she will stay in your mind forever." He said matter-of-factly.

"Oh, well can you help?" I asked slightly embarrassed.

"Sure mate! Okay here's what you're going to do.

Rose's POV

I was sitting in my new house, in my new room just looking around, because my life is that interesting. I am the most bored I have been in my life. I'm just starting to question my existence while wondering what the world would be like if Halloween unicorns with carrot horns took over the world, when Niall walked in a long with the rest of the boys.

"I'm boreddd!" Niall exclaimed, dragging out the word.

"Well what do you want me to do about it?" I sassed back. (A/N: Oh yes I said sass!)

"Entertain us!" Louis said.

"Well how about we play truth or dare and then watch and movie and I will make you guys some dinner because I hate the fact I now have a cook and my parents are both out tonight?" I asked.

"You came up with that on the spot?" Zayn said, eyebrows raised.

"No actually, it's what I do when I want a night in with friends." I said while standing up and going to the living room.

Hey my little Rosebuds!
