A younger Haruto stands in a shallow stream, hearing Rengoku's words in his head.

"Manifest it with your flames."

Haruto concentrates as the water runs around his feet.

"Set your heart ablaze!"

If I maximize the attack power of the first form...

Haruto deeply inhales.

"Flame breathing: First form, unknowing flame. Manifest!"

March 21st

Yumijin jumps back from Haruto's slash, just barely missing his neck. Yumijin's eyes still being cut from Sumire's attack. Haruto, and Sumire stand by Odataki, shielding him from Yumijin. "Can you stand?" Odataki slowly stands up, wiping blood off his face. "Y-yeah." Yumijin stands clutching his eyes as they start healing quickly. "My eyes..."

Haruto, Odataki, and Sumire all nod their heads. Yumijin grabs an arrow and readies his bow. They made a plan while I was blinded, I'll stay on my best guard. "It should work. Let's give it a shot!" Odataki grabs his sword and breathes in deeply.

"Water breathing, third form: Flowing Dance!"

Odataki runs around with his sword in a large flowing movement. Yumijin fires multiple arrows at Odataki, which he evades or slashes away. However Odataki doesn't go for Yumijin at all. He's avoiding me? "Don't turn away from us!" Haruto takes his sword and swings at the back of his neck. Yumijin then turns around and blocks it. He quickly uses his other hand to punch him away. "Sumire!" Haruto shouts as Sumire runs forward, cutting one of Yumijin's eyes out with her claws again. She then ducks her head low and slashes his chest open. "That's enough!"

Yumijin grabs his bow and pulls an arrow to shoot Sumire. Sumire takes her left leg and kicks his arm, sending the bow flying out his hands. "Shit!" Sumire kicks him in the chest causing him to fly back.

"Water breathing, Seventh form: Ripple trust!"

Odataki takes his sword and thrusts it forward into Yumijin who flies into the blade. "Checkmate!" Haruto shouts as he runs up to Yumijin, his sword ready to cut his head off. "It won't be that easy! Yumijin kicks Haruto away and punches Odataki's sword out of his body. He then grabs Odataki and throws him to the edge of the cliffside. "Odataki!" Haruto shouts out of concern. Odataki hits the ground and rolls off the edge of the cliff, he's barely hanging on by a few fingers. Haruto runs to Odataki in hopes of pulling him up. "I won't let you do that." Yumijin says as he shoots an arrow in front of Odataki's hands. The force of the impact causes the dirt to crumble, making him fall off the edge. Haruto stands there in shock.

"You..." Yumijin looks down at Haruto laughing. "What about me?" Haruto is seething with anger and rage, "I've had enough people taken from me! You guys take Odataki too?! Demons! YOU ARE A CANCER TO THIS WORLD!" A ghostly hand touches Haruto's shoulder as he hears a mysterious masculine voice in his head. "Don't let anger consume you, Haruto. Breathe." Haruto quickly looks back at the hand but it disappears. The anger in his face immediately leaves for pure shock. "What's that face for?" Yumijin looks down condescendingly at Haruto. Haruto wipes the surprise off his face and grips his sword, looking up at Yumijin.
