Most Wanted

A few weeks later some men in suits came to our house. I didn't know who they were so I assumed they were some of my dads colleagues but they probably weren't but I was too lazy to care (it was summer so don't judge). I didn't hear much but I did pick up a few sentences. I heard the men ask for me so they could do testing on me. I didn't know what they meant at first, but then I realized that they might have figured out that I had powers ( no it couldn't be). My father refuse to hand me over to them. They left but I suspected that this wouldn't be the last of them.Later that night I was awoken from my sleep by some noise that was coming from downstairs. I went to check so I grabbed my Swiss army knife that my uncle had given to me. I crept down the stairs as quietly as a church mouse so that who ever it was didn't hear me. I hear some whispers coming from the kitchen. I walked into the dark kitchen and turned off the lights. Suddenly, I was tackled to to the ground. I saw two men that looked familiar. I resisted as much as I could but was then punched in the face and knocked unconscious.

I awoke in a dark car. The car was parked near a large facility. I was very afraid and I didn't know where I was or who had taken me. All I knew was that some men had taken me from my home and I'm probably about to be experimented on like a gerbil. I calmed down for a few minutes and started to think about what to do. I knew I was tied up, I knew the doors were locked . I gnawed at the tight  rope that was around my arms until I was free. I searched through the car to find a key, then realized that the car had an unlock button (stupid). I used the Swiss army knife that was in my pocket to cut the rope that was tied to my legs. The men that captured me saw that I had escaped. I dashed away from the car to a foggy place and the men quickly came after me. I ran as fast as I could but the men were catching up to me. I saw where I had been running to. It was a gigantic, deep, and wide abyss of nothing. I couldn't turn around or run a different direction because the men were right on my tail. I was for sure that I was gonna die.

I got to the edge of the cliff and had nowhere else to run. I thought to myself, if I jump then I will die, but if I go with the men then I will be experimented on and will probably die there too . Suddenly I had an idea that was either gonna kill me or save me. I had to jump but I was reluctant. While I was in the air, I would try to teleport back to my house. I knew this was the only way to save myself, or kill myself but I trusted my skills. The men approached me. I fell back into the abyss of darkness. While I was hurdling towards my death I said to myself "home home home." I though I was dead but then I felt the jolt in my body and I was in my room.

I was gonna wait until morning to tell my parents what happened so they wouldn't have a panic attack in the middle of the night. I knew that they wanted me and I was a threat to them now. This was just the beginning.
