I'm sitting in my room enjoying the love of Edward and Bella, or the blossom of it; my vividly detailed novel being interrupted by the piercing screams of my sister. This scream is prolonged and shrill. It gets louder meaning she's getting closer. Oh joy. I groan and roll my eyes, marking the page of my book just before my door bursts open and bangs against my wall. I cringe.

"What do you want Shelby?" I ask showing annoyance. She is only grinning, on cloud nine it would seem.

She opens her mouth to say something, but isn't able to form words and closes her mouth. On her lips is that grin, replastered. She walks over calmly and flops on my bed with her laptop. Her grin doesn't falter, and she shows me her screen.

"Chelsie, I entered a contest." She starts trying to steady her breathing; she seems really excited. I nod and let her continue. "And it's to see Ross Lynch." She stops and squeals.

I hate to ruin her moment, but I'm confused. "Who's that?" I ask.

Her face flattens and her head snaps in my direction. She has that look in her eye that says 'are you kidding me?' I shrug in apology. She starts typing away on her computer and then a male face pops up, multiple times, in rows. She googled pictures of him.

"Oh! He's that kid from Disney, the one who thinks he has swag." I say with realization dawning. She glares at me.

"He's not a kid, he's eighteen, well almost. His birthday is in December." She says dreamily. I roll my eyes.

"And you're a freak." I mumble and get off my bed and go over to put my novel back on my bookshelf. "Why did you come in here anyway?" I ask annoyed that I could be reading on in my romance right now. "And if his birthday is in December, he's not 'almost' eighteen." I comment.

"Well, I decided that if I win, I want you to come with me to the concert." She gushes. I turn to look at her. She's totally a fangirl.

"Look, as much as I would love to go with you to see a kid who could be in my school sing and act like he's cool, I'd rather not." Again, her face falls, and she walks over to me.

"Chelsie." She whines. "Please, I really want you to come with me." She begs. I turn to face her.

"Why?"

"Because," She starts gushing again. "What if he saw you, and thought you were hot, and then you fell in love?!" She asks grinning again as she thinks it out loud. I chuckle.

"Shelby, you are such a fangirl." I say.

"Plus," She starts to add still trying to convince me. "I don't really want Mom to take me. That would be embarrassing." She grumbles and scowls trying to imagine it. I chuckle again.

"Okay, agreed. I see where you're coming from there." I say. She looks up at me hopefully with a gleam in her eye.

"So you would go with me?!" She asks getting excited again. I nod.

"Yeah. I'll go." She squeals again and hugs me.

"Thank you Chelsie!"

"Yeah, yeah you owe me though, I don't even know what his music is like." I say and she pulls back. She goes over to her laptop again and starts furiously typing again. She motions me over with her hand and I comply. Music starts to erupt through the tiny speakers and I hear him start to sing.

"I can get your heart beat beat beat beating like, I can get heart beat beating like that.." I raise my eyebrow considering what he reminds me of. Oh yeah, auto-tune. This concert will be interesting.

"Okay, okay I know it has that generic 'Disney' sound to it, but him and his siblings are a family band, and I think you would like them." Shelby says stopping the song and searching Youtube for another song.
