Chapter 7: The grounding, and peace.

We are going to skip forward by a month to around May when our leader Russian Carrot was grounded. Because of these turn of events there was no leader to take care of our nation because KSI Security the leader of Alfa group quit the clan. It was decided latter that I would take charge of the Soviet Union till he came back because I had more experience as a KSI general.

So I was at the helm of the great superpower. No one outside this clan knew about the developments about russian carrot and my ascension so nothing changed exactly, we were still at war with FLCM which at the time was our worst enemy. At the time it didn't seem like any peace was to be made, but that was about to change.

One day me, DavelovesDrugs, and Captain Petrov were checking out maps the could be used as bases for the clan then suddenly 4 people popped up on the side of the screen, from that moment we knew we were being raided. The three of us just looked at our screens in shock think of how they could have gotten into the game. It was later to be discovered that the game was open.

There would have been a fight but we were on forge which allowed for tensions to simmer because both of us knew we couldn't have a raid on forge. I made sure our intensions were not to fight, and they agreed which actually allowed two worlds to talk and get to know each other. Today I am still happy for this because it put a mark on history saying that the soviets weren't war mongers and that we could be nice.

We all talked and exchanged jokes about both of our clans, it was a friendly atmosphere between two group. Then I ask a question to these four opposite men asking them if you want to help us test a raiding map we were working on and they agreed. So we set up a little friendly raid to test out the defenses of a map. The funny thing was this map was Fort Vega the map which we took from their allies BIOHAVOC. As we got into the map me, Dave, and Petrov got into our positions to prepare for the advance. As soon as we said the word go everything changed.

The atmosphere changed from one of that of friendship to one of enemies once again as the enemy came near our base we opened up with sniper fire, and machine gun bullets, we did this as bullets were wizzing by us As the enemy was returning fire. The results were as similar as the first battle in that map they were able to get in easily but it was hard for them to stay in. Fighting went on and on till they actually took the base away from us and we were the attacking team. So we had to capture the base. This process turned into a seesaw as they took the base then we took it, then they took it and it went on and on.

Then both side started to bring in more of their members till it was an 8v8 fighting for control of the base. A friendly raid between two groups trying to get to know each other turned into a full fledged battle to take over a base to the point where the top two people of FLCM joined in. These two people were ramer12 and Forcible Nick. Once I saw that these two joined in on the raid I knew I had to use some diplomacy to end this.

I requested for FC Overlord the person who first joined our game to invite me to his party so I could talk to ramer12. I recieved that invite shortly after, what I remember from when I first got in was seeing ramer, and he said "So your Darkness UD?" Because my name back then was Darkness UD. I told him yes. It was like as if he knew I was commanding a super power of a clan though it was just because FC OVERLORD told him I was leading the soviet force. Then he asked me what was with the raid cause he believed it was an actual raid. And I had to tell him "no it was not a raid, originally I asked FC overlord and a few of his men to test out a map for us which was a raiding map, and over the course of the battle its transformed into a raid. So I tried to see if we could get a ceasefire on the battlefield to talk about other matters. So we both called off our men. From there I did something that no one expected in that party, I asked for ceasefire to the clan war between our clans. I told him about how our leader was incapacitated at the moment and that we should have a ceasefire that lasts until he comes back. After I explained this there was silence in the party. No one spoke a word.

This was until ramer finally spoke saying that he would bring it up to his clans counsel later that day, and he didn't know what they would think. After that we agreed to end the game and for them to leave once we were in the lobby. I told my men about the proposal I made with fleetcom, and it came with mixed results. This was because some liked the war, and wanted us to continue, yet others believed that we should end the war and allow ourselves to rebuild more. Either way the die was cast and we waited for results later.

The next morning I received a message from ramer saying that his clan counsel had decided to agree to the ceasfire and there would not be any fighting until Carrot came back, but this never happened because some unexpected events occurred in the coming weeks.
