"Hello, Angela" Nick's Mom began. "This is my son Nicolei, My husband Mr. Peterson, And I am Mrs. Peterson."  "How do you do?" Angela replied as they sat down. "So Angela, tell us about yourself. How old you are and where you come from." Mr. Peterson prompted, looking at the small girl. "I am thirteen, and I come from downtown London where I lived with another family for a time.  They gave me back because the mother had another child and I didn't feel like I fit in." Angela said.  Nicolei's mother nodded understandingly.

"Angela," Nicolei's mom said slowly, "Nicolei said he saw you watching him from the other side of the road. Was that you?" "Yes, that was me. I was going for a walk to pick up the groceries for Mrs.Balya  and had to run under an awning to stay dry. As I was standing under the awning waiting for the rain to stop,  I saw your family." Angela replied.

Nick's mom nodded, then she looked at the clock and stood up. "It was nice meeting you Angela, and we hope to be able to see you again". Then Nicolei's dad got up and opened the door so Angela could go out. When they went out the attendant greeted them with a blinding smile then got up from her desk. "So! How did it go? Did you get to know each other better?" The attendant asked. " Yes, it was quite enjoyable." Nicolei's father answered. " Angela, thank Mr. and Mrs. Peterson for their time." She said turning to Angela. "Thank you for your time, Mr. and Mrs. Peterson," Angela said automatically with a perfect smile, then she raced around the corner out of sight.
