going home

I woke up feeling better than I had these past few weeks. My babies are doing good, Andrew is stable and may wake up soon. Nothing could possibly happen. Today I was going to his house. After I put on a decent shirt and a pair of shorts, I got in my car. "I'm leaving" I shouted to no one in particular. I got in my car and drove off. This was the few times I've actually driven by myself since the accident. I nearly cried when i heard until it's gone on the radio. By the time I got in Andrew's drive way, tears stained my face.

I took my key out and unlocked his door. It was just as we left it. I could smell him. It smelled like home. Like I was cuddled in his arms all those times.

I slowly, walked up to his room. I opened his door and it was messy of course. My clothes on the ground as were his. I take one of his dirty shirts and slide it on. I faintly smelled his Cologne on the shirt. I slid my hand across his desk and looked in his drawers. One of them had his beat mixer but the other one had an envelope with my name on it. To Riley.

Hesitantly, I opened it. There was a sheet with some columns and numbers on it.

I broke down in full blown tears. He had passed after all the work we did. He passed. I thought his test wasn't for another week but I guess his teacher let him take it early.

I looked deeper into the envelope and there was a ring, a shiny diamond ring with a note attached.

I knew you before you knew me. You never knew this but Derek and I were in the mall one day, then you walked in. I couldn't stop staring at you. Derek saw me staring and told me who you were. So basically you were off limits. When he brought you over that day, I looked confident but on the inside I was a mess. I didn't know what I was going to say or do. I took a chance, I took a chance with you riley and I find that to be no coincidence. All I know is, I want you to be mine forever- no for enternity. We won't fail, I know it. I ran out of his house and quickly, safely drove to the hospital. I pulled in the lot and ran out of my car and into his hospital room.

I had the ring on my finger already. I entered his room and derek, devin, and my mom was there. They must've saw my face because they stepped out. I rushed to his side and held his hand. I kissed his cheek and whispered "yes".

A/n I wrote this while at a theme park anyway next chapter is the last one I have taken you guys comments seriously so we'll see what happens in an hour or so
