~ Nathan ~

I sit on the sofa with my head in my hands. Nessa has been missing all night and I'm extremely worried. What if she's hurt? Or worse, what if she's dead? I am her husband, I'm supposed to be protecting her. She's carrying my baby, and she could be in danger for all I know.

"Nath, I made you some tea" Jess appears holding two mugs and she carefully hands me one, which I take with my shaky hands. "Thanks Jess" I sip it slowly. "Is Melody okay?"

"Yeah. She's sleeping. How are you feeling?" She replies taking a seat beside me.

"Shit. Helpless. I don't know, so many thoughts are running through my head right now" I breathe sipping some more tea. "I'm so sorry Nathan" Jess bites her lip shaking her head and her eyes are glazed with tears.

"What are you sorry for?" I frown placing my mug down and wrapping my arm around Jess's shoulders. "I'm so stupid. I shouldn't have let Vanessa run into the woods alone. Or at all, and I should've told you earlier. I'm so so sorry, Nathan" Tears slip down her face.

"Hey, sh, I know Nessa and she wouldn't have taken no for an answer. None of this is your fault, alright?"

She nods breathing deeply and eventually she stops crying. "Look at me, I'm a mess and she's your wife" She chuckles quietly wiping her cheeks.

"She's as much family to you as she is to me. I just..miss kissing her and cuddling her and calling her mine, I can't handle it" I admit running a hand through my hair.

"And they'll find her, I know they will" Jess sniffles sipping her drink.

"I hope so, because slowly..I'm losing hope" I admit and she placed a hand on my arm.

"Are you sure you don't mind me staying with you?" Jess peeps up at me.

"Of course not. I appreciate the company" I smile softly.

"We have an emergency" Tom bursts through the door with the other lads behind him as well as Nareesha and Nina.

"What? What is it?" I frown standing up.

"It's Kelsey," Tom breathes running a hand through his hair. "She's gone. Just disappeared, left her phone, her purse, all of her belongings."

"That means.." Jess gasps covering her mouth with her hand.

"Yep. This psycho has taken Kels too" Nareesha folds her arms.

"And it's only a matter of time before this person comes for the rest of us" Nina States sighing loudly. "Hey..sh..I won't let anybody touch you. I promise" Max reassures his girlfriend.

"Agreed. This person is going to go for all of Nessa's closest friends, the girls. We need to stay together, keep each other safe. We've alerted the police too" Jay explains.

"Then we will stay together. Here, you can all stay here, until this shit is over and everybody's safe again" I confirm and everybody's eyes turn to me.

"Are you sure?"

"We wouldn't want to be burdens or anything.."

"Guys! It's fine, I swear. I need you all right now, so we can find our girls" I look over particularly at Tom since his girlfriend has disappeared now too. His gaze locks on mine and he nods slowly.

"I'm gonna go speak to the officers outside, let them know the plan" Nareesha swallows rubbing the back of her neck and leaving the room.

I purse my lips together, looking down at the wedding ring on my finger.

"Darling! We've just heard what's happened, are you alright?" Mum strolls into the room with Phil behind her. She embraces me in a comforting hug. "Yeah" I mumble.

"Tom," Phil calls. "We're so sorry."

Tom flashes him a small smile.

"So now what?" Jess asks.

"Now, we wait."
