Avery was an ordinary girl. She went to school, had an amazing best friend, named Harmony, that she had known from birth basically, and two loving parents, even though one was far away. Avery was a star athlete at her high school, but since high school was over she was going into college and things would be very new.
The summer between high school and college, Avery was training as much as she could. She was determined to be the star she always knew she was. Everyday Avery went on the same jog, at the same time, in the same place. She liked consistency. But when one of the roads that brings her into town is closed after a thunder storm, she must go a different way. That new route brings her right into the famous rock group, LMNO. Literally.
When Avery turns a corner and runs into Mason Chadwick, one of the singers in the group, her life changes forever. LMNO is completely confused when she doesn't recognize them, but they are also refreshed by the fact that not every teenage girl in town is obsessing over them.
Later, when Avery and Harmony are walking down the peer at the beach, they see LMNO preforming one of their songs. The guys recognize her and stop her to talk. While Harmony is freaking out, Avery is completely confused. That is just the beginning of the confusion though, because the guys later ask her to hang out with them. They even invite Harmony.
