Cameron's POV:
Maya texted us at 5 in the morning to talk about her magical date. And she was right that date sounded magical. I couldn't go back to sleep because I wish that I had a boyfriend or a boy who loved me like that. But I'm not really good with dating.
At school...
I saw Maya and Nick walking down the hallways together, it just made me so worked up that I tried not to be around them...
"Hey Cameron!" Maya said.
"Hey, sorry but I have to go to class." I said walking right passed them.
"Oh okay, maybe I'll see you later." Maya said.
It felt so wrong to ignore my best friend but I didn't want to get jealous. I hung out with Mae for a little bit but then we went to the library to work on our project. I'm so glad Maya is working with Nick.
"Do you realize that Maya is always around Nick?" Mae asked.
"Yeah I've noticed." I said making a glance at them.
"It's like Nick replaced us." Mae said.
"Maya would never let Nick get in between our friendship." I said looking for books.
"But, all she does is talk about Nick, it's like her only subject." Mae complained.
"I think you're jealous." I said popping an eyebrow.
"No I'm not!" Mae yelled.
"Shhh!" The librarian demanded. Mae isn't really fit for a library, she can never shut up!
"Oh yeah, all you're doing is talking about how Nick is always around her." I said glancing at a book.
"Fine, I'm going to find someone to be my boyfriend and will see what Maya thinks." Mae said looking around to find someone cute enough for Mae.
"Mae this isn't right." I said.
"But I don't care! I want to see what Maya is going to think about me hanging out with my boyfriend!" Mae said.
"Okay whatever you say so." I said leaving the library. I'm afraid about Mae's plan, maybe she'll be right maybe she'll be wrong...
