Chapter 6: Love Me Like You Do

Dear Diary,

Today I'm going to let Maya write her perspective of the date...

Maya's Point of View:

Nick and I we have together for 2 weeks and he is going to ask me out today! I can't wait, also I have nothing to wear so I called Mae and Cameron over to help. Today is Saturday and Nick and I's date is in 2 hours!!

"Hey Mae!" I said.

"Wait where's Cameron?" I asked.

"I don't know, I think she has to take care of her sister...what's her name?" Mae asked.

"Kayla?" I asked.

"Yeah I think that's her name!" I said.

"I'm here, sorry guys! Kayla wanted to go to her friends house so I had to walk her to her friends house and now Gabriella is watching both of them." Cameron said.

"It's ok." I said.

"So what are you thinking of wearing ?" Mae asked.

"Umm a dress." I said.

"Not on a date!" Mae screamed.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because you don't know where your going, so you need to wear something casual!" Mae said.

"What's wrong with a dress?" Cameron asked.

"I just said it, listen!" Mae said.

Mae is very nice and sweet if your her friend. Other than that, she hates you. She's a protective friend. For example, if a boy rejected you, she'll reject his bones! It's true, I used to date this boy named Trevor and he was cheating on me! So Mae broke his arm! She's crazy!!

"Calm down Mae!" Cameron said.

"Maybe Mae's right." I said.

"Yes I am." Mae said.

"Whatever, let's find you an outfit." Cameron said.

So Cameron is a very good friend to have. She has the brains, also a very good science partner! Nah I'm just kidding. Anyways, she's not the best with styles but she can pull off a tie. She's also very good at hair, her hair is very nice and curly. So is Mae's because Cameron helps her. Cameron is the only one who can outsmart Sophie. Mae can just be rude, Cameron is the smart one. Cameron is very nice and forgiving.

"Ooh how about this?" Cameron asked.

Cameron picked out a white shirt with a pink tie and a pink high waisted skirt.

"Umm no!" Mae said.

"Okay that could work, let's see Mae's idea of cute." I said.

"Perfect, how about this?" Mae asked.

Mae picked out a really plan white shirt with high waisted shorts (that were pink)

"Not that bad." I said.

"So what outfit is your favorite?" Mae asked.

I totally loved Mae's but Cameron is always the odd ball, she never gets anything. I mean, Cameron doesn't get asked out by boys, it's just me and Mae! She's like a Duff! That's not good! I have to choose Mae's! Sorry Cameron.

"I like Mae's better!" I said.

"Yay!!" Mae.

"That's okay, good choice." Cameron said.

I know deep inside that Cameron is heart broken but it's life.

"So are you ready for the date?" Mae asked.

"Yup." I said walking out and waving my best friends goodbye.

Cameron's Point of View:

"She's all grown up!" Mae said.

"Whatever." I said.

"I'm serious she's going on a date!" Mae said.

"I know I'm aware of that." I said.

Maya's point of view:

Nick is a very sweet boy and that's why I said yes to the date. Nick told me that we were going to a fancy place! I'm so going to kill Mae for this!

"So how do you like it?" Nick asked.

"It's beautiful!" I said.

"So what is this place?" I asked.

"It's my families restaurant." Nick said.

"Your rich?" I asked.

"Yeah." Nick said.

"Wow!" I said looking at everything that was white.

"Do you like me because I'm rich?" Nick asked.

"No." I said.

"Okay, so let's sit here." Nick suggested.

"Okay." I said.

Nick and I ordered salad and Ice Tea. We had fun at our date! Also Nick said he will always love me, even if we break up. Witch will never happen, oh no! I have to go Knock on wood. I tried to find wood... I looked at Nick's chair. And I knocked on it!

"Was there a bug?" Nick asked.

"Nope." I said.

"Okay." Nick said. After dinner Nick took me to see the stars and that's when we kissed. It felt magical! And I knew that he was the one...
