Here's what we know and that can be accredited. The story is related to the Revolt of the Angels. By pride, Lucifer thought himself better than God. Obviously, that did not please God. He chastised Lucifer by banning him from Paradise.

- Yes. You must also know that time was different then. The angels were affected differently by it. It's not that God did nothing, it's just that the action does not always precedes the reaction and that large periods of time may elapse without anything happens while for angels, it happened a second ago. Three camps emerged. The Rebels, the faithful and the neutrals. The war was long. Very long. But again, it is difficult to judge. Azazel became Satan, the Adversary.

- I believe that God has not been kind to the neutrals.

- Not really. But it is easy to judge after the facts.

- The angel in charge of the ring was Ignavim. He was an angel of Truth. You know that for everyone, Reality and therefore the truth depends on the perspective. Well, he knows what is, everywhere and all the time. For this reason, he cannot be corrupted. The simple fact that he was on the side of Azazel is very disturbing.

- Is that why I've never heard of it?

- Yes, he was erased from history. Lucifer, did not participate in the war, but he looked what his actions had triggered. He realized his mistake but it was too late. It was at this moment that time began to mean something. God just set the rules. The rebels were disconcerted and the faithful took the opportunity to attack. The advantage was now for them to have. Ignavim was the first to understand what would result of this change. And so he fled.

- And his name became a symbol of cowardice.

- Yes. The faithful chased him. They had to retrieve the ring and punish Ignavim. And soon, he got caught. In the fight, he lost two fingers and the ring that fell on Earth. That's when Lucifer came to help him.

- Seriously? He wanted the ring?

- I do not know. Perhaps he wanted to redeem himself by saving Ignavim. God knows. Anyway, Ignavim seized the opportunity and fled again, leaving Lucifer against the angels.

- Is he dead?

- Lucifer? Are you kidding me? He was an archangel. He smashed them.

- And the ring?

- I understand that Lucifer recovered it. Later, he gave it to Ienan in exchange for a service.

- What service?

- That I do not know. But it gives an idea of the dimension of the service knowing the power of the ring.
