I moved nervously on the stage, my hand frequently going to my hair, flicking back the strands that had fallen in front of my view. I looked towards Niall as he sung, strumming his guitar- a look of achievement on his face. We had achieved something, in fact. Well not a little something, but a big something. We were playing our first arena gig to well over a thousand fans. They sung at the top of their lungs to the melodies we had created. Yet, I still felt that growing nerves floating at the pit of my stomach. It was almost unbearable- and thats when I saw her.

She looked over at me from across the room. I could feel it. Even though there was at least three thousand girls chanting, screaming my name, the lyrics,  all I could hear was her silence. She didn't stare at me like they did- with awe and lust. She read me. Every single inch of me. She looked interested. Almost intrigued at the way in which my arms flew to the songs guitar.

Her face was illuminated with streaks of colours from the lights which flew over the audience's head. I squinted, struggling to come to conclusions on her eye colour. Her face glowed, her body somehow stood out as she bopped her head side to side. Her face didn't look unhappy; yet. it didn't look happy either. Her stare made me feel vulnerable, like she could tear me edge from edge at any second. The nerves I once questioned had risen, the anxiety of messing up the lyrics to the mellow song rang throughout my body, causing me to shake my head from the rattling feeling.

She stood short in the crowd but eyes glistened up at me. They shun, as lively as the busy streets of London town. As I watched her gaze, however, she began to leave. Every syllable that fell from my lips were strained as I saw her begin to disappear, my voice was fading. She was slipping, her beauty slipped through my fingertips.

Every strum of the guitar seemed to make her disappear bit by bit. She slowly began to disappear.

And that was the first time,

She left.
