Forever Yours, Faithfully

Chapter One- Finchel still going strong.

Before summer had began, Finn and Rachel once again became an item. They were Finchel. Things had always been on and off between them, but Finn couldn't help but always have feelings for Rachel. There was just something about her that stuck to his heart unlike everyone else who couldn't stand her with being overly obnoxious and loud. Finn found the way she wasn't afraid to say whats on her mind, even though at some times can come off as rude and snobby but the way she would stand for herself made Finn impressed and in love with her. And as for Rachel, from when she first laid eyes on him in glee club, the talent he had with his singing was love at first site in her eyes. He was the first one on the football team to really notice her without pin pointing her for a slushie facial. To her, Finn was nothing like the other impolsive football players.

So summer had gone and it was time for school. A new semester, a new year and Finchel was still going strong. Finn picked up Rachel that morning in his new car. Finn drove to the high school with Rachel in the passenger seat. They got to the destination of the high school they would soon be saying good bye to. In a stripped forest green and dark beige polo t-shirt with a pair of khaki shorts, Finn stepped out of the car, going to the passenger door, being a gentle men, and opening the door for Rachel. He knew how she enjoyed being treated like a princess, and she was in a good mood, why ruin it for her. Rachel, in a cute bright yellow dress that went to her knees with the perfect flats with sunflowers on them that finished her outfit hopped out of the car grabbing Finn's hand. They walked hand in hand, before entering the school, Rachel stopped in her tracks and stood there looking at school. She took in a deep breath smiling looking up at the school. Finn looked over at her, a bit of an confused expression covered his face as he stood there with her, sort of looking around to see if anyone was staring at them. "This is the final year, and I'm gonna make it a great one." Rachel said smiling. She always liked to stop and just take everything in. Finn smirked a little at her. "Come on, lets get this year started." Finn said tugging at her hand and she began walking again with him, making their way through the front doors of the school. The halls were being filled with loud chatter between friends about summer holidays, bragging of all the great things that happened and even a bit of drama that happened through out the summer vacation. Finn and Rachel made their way through the halls, saying hey to a few friends they hadn't seen very much or at all during the summer. Finn and Rachel had spent a lot of time together, really getting to know one another more and more. They had a lot of one on one time and it seemed to them that their love had grown stronger. After going to the lockers, and setteling in for the new school year, it was time for class. The one thing not so great about school. Finn was struggling near the end last year but Rachel was passing all her classes with flying colours. She was very intellegent, which was good for Finn to have someone there to help and guide him with the certain subjects he struggled in. As for joining glee club, both Rachel and Finn were signed up, ready to make their last year in glee club a enjoyable and memorable one.

The bell rang, and the part of the day Rachel just couldn't wait for. Glee club. She was ready for her many solo's and occasional duets with Finn. No one was going to stand in her way. She was taking her senior year very seriously, and considering she hadn't been slushied yet, the year was off to a fantastic start. She strut down the hallway, to the choir room. Finn came out of his bio class, joing Rachel by her side, walking the hallway with her. "Ready?" he asked with a sheepish smirk on his face, already knowing she was most certainly ready the way she was rushing down the hallway, with him now keeping up at her heels. Rachel smiled wide. "I am more then ready Finn" she replied as they walked into the choir room. It was dull and empty. No one was to be seen. Finn looked around and scratched his head. "Why is it so....so..." "Empty" Rachel finished his sentence, which she seemed to do a lot. Rachel suddenly became worried. Was there glee club this year? Would Rachel be able to truly shine like she planned? All these thoughts and concerns were racing through Rachel's head. The second bell rang and finally familar faces began to show up. Glee club was still on and the brightness in Rachel's cheeks reappeared. Finn smiled, standing next to Rachel as Mercedes along with Kurt at her side and Artie rolling in not far behind them. They all screamed and cheered with warm smiles, coming into a group hug. All three of them were very surprised to see Rachel and Finn's love had lasted all summer long, but they didn't mention anything. Soon enough Tina and Mike walked in, arms linked with brittney and santana strolling in behind the aisian couple.They greeted each other with hugs and smiles. Why, even Puckerman showed up,not alone, but with Lauren.Rachel smiled brightly happy to see everyone but she wanted Mr.Schue to come in and get things started. She's was going to be taking sectionals, regionals and nationals very seriously this year. She was planning on bringing home all the trophies. Finn mingled it up, still standing by Rachel's side catching up with the fellow friends. Glee club had made a pact of very close friends, and had also brought Finn and Rachel closer then ever.

Everyone was here, excpet for two members. Soon enough, walking through the door, everyone surprised and bit shocked to see hand in hand was Sam Evans and Quinn Fabray. Rachel seen Finn smile when Quinn and Sam walked in, but she wasn't going to worry about them. Finn had broke up with Quinn, and Rachel knew Finn loved her. Rachel clapped her hands twice loudly. "Okay Glee Club, this is our senior year, and I have a lot planned for us, because we are bringing home all the trophies!" she smiled wide and everyone clapped and cheered. Rachel took Finn's hand and flashed a smile at him. Finn held Rachel's hand and went and sat down and everyone got setteled. Rachel sat straight in her seat, ready to get right down to business as Mr.Schue walked in. Finn on the other hand had glanced over at Quinn and Sam. He found something about them being back together strange but he shrugged it off bringing his attention back to Rachel.
