Taking it to the Street's - Chapter 2

Cheetah's P.O.V.

" CHIEF COME ON. I THOUGHT WE WERE OKAY." I yelled through the bars.

" I don't think so Summers, your in here for a reason i can't just let you go." He scolded.

" It's been 4 HOURS." I complained yelling the last part.

" So it has, you've survived this long without blowing anything up i'm sure you can last longer." He said looking down at his watch.

" I'm going to kill Keiran." I muttered as i stalked back over to the cold hard bed that every cell had.

It's been 2 HOURS since Keiran said he would come and get me and i was still stuck here. Perkins sat at his desk that was opposite my cell and glared at me the whole time while the Chief tried to lighten my mood. So far i havn't blown anything up but theres still time, i havn't had my phone call yet.

" Can i have my phone call." I asked as sweetley as i could.

" Wow that's a new record for you, 4 hours and you only want your phone call now." Chief teased.

" Yeah yeah just give me the phone." I said walking over to the bars and holding my hand out.

Chief laughed and walked back over to me as slow as he could taking the most tiny steps. As soon as he was close enough i grabbed for the phone and did a little victory dance as i snatched it first time. I decided to call someone who would definetly come and get me.

" Come on pick up, pick up." I begged as it rang.

" Hello." A voice drawled over  the phone they picked.

" Gladiator can i ask a huge favor." I said cheekily.

" What have you done." He asked suddenly alert.

" I need you to come bail me out of jail." I said sulkily.

" Yeah i'll be right there but why?" He asked confussed.

" I'll explain later. Just come and get me." I told him hanging up.

" Hey Chief." I called

" What now Summers." He said turning round.

" Do you want the phone back or not." I teased.

He made a ' give it ' motion and i threw it underarm through the bars.

" I have a feeling your gonna be here awhile Summers." Chief said.

" I wouldn't be so sure." I said narrowing my eyes.

He just laughed and walked off whistling. Damn Gladiator better get here quick.

**30 minutes later**

" Ladies and Gentlemen have no fear, Maximus LeRoy is here." Gladiator announced using his real name as he came through the door.

Today he had decided to wear decided to wear a two piece suit with a pair of expensive looking shoes and a swanky gold watch with a clean shaven beard. He swaggered over to the main desk and started talking to the Chief, they joked and laughed for a few minutes before they got down to business. That was Maximus's special abiltity he would come in with his big expensive suits and joke and laugh with his victim then go from the joker to professional con-man in minutes he gets straight down to business and gets what he wants.

I smiled as i saw them walking over to me as i leaned back onto the bed and lifted my feet onto the wall. I saw him smirk slightly as he saw me in this cell in just my office suit obviously thinking about why i was wearing it. Maximus didn't know about my business's and if he did he would tell Houdini who would want to have share, the shame about having to share out everything inbetween two gangs was that you had to share everything....unless they didn't know.

" Summer's Mr. LeRoy here has paid for your bail but you'll be given a summons to appear in court very soon." Chief explained as he hesitantly opened my cell door.

" Great to see you too Chief." I laughed as i practicaly ran out the door.

As soon as i was out the door and back onto the strret i stopped and straightened out my clothes, smoothing the collar of my blouse. Maximus came out and stood behind me, one hand in his pants pocket.

" So Serani James snitched." He stated after a few minutes.

" Sure did and im going after him after i get home and suit up." I said looking off around the street.

People rushed about in some sort of invisible hurry while others just sat and watched from the bars or resturants. These people had no idea what their perfect little wrolds would turn into if The Carnivore's didn't control this area. Only a few from Allegance and Houdini's lower gangs were allowed passage through our border otherwise the others would have to ask permission were i could either refuse or accept.

" Want me to come?" He asked looking over at me.

" Nah it's Carnivore business seeing as it's on our turf, i could do with a ride back to my office though Tuckers probably left already." I said cheekily.

" Wow you repay me for bailing you out by me giving you a ride home." He laughed empasising the 'me'.

" Let's go then." I said gesturing for him to lead the way.

Maximus's car was one of my favorites it was a Silver Lamborghini Gallardo with crome wheels and fittings. He unlocked it and walked over to the passanger side door opening it for me, as i stepped in and did my seat belt he closed it again and walked back over to the drivers side buttoning up his suit in the process. I rested my head against the headrest and closed my eyes as he jumped into the car.

The short trip to my office took longer than expected as Maximus didn't want to hit anything with his car, he's such a dweeb. Everytime another car would come near him he would freak out and swerve to the side. By the time we got to my office i practically ran out of the car.

" I wasn't that bad." He tried to defend as we took the elevator up to my office.

" Seriously, you swerved across the road everytime someone came an inch towards the car." I said giving him a look.

He stayed silent and i knew i had won. I smirked as i walked past Tuckers desk and into my office, i walked over to my desk and opened the second to top drawer and pulled out my phone and mask. Maximus had flopped down into one of my arm chairs that faced my desk and threw his feet over the side crumpling up his suit in the process.

" You can leave now." I said as i picked eveything i needed up.

" Oh i get it you got me to bail you out of jail and now you just fling me away." He fake sobbed in a teenage girls voice, no offence to them.

" Exactly, now you can leave while i go and do grown up stuff." I said to him like he was a little kid.

" I wanna come." He whined.

" No Maximus." I said sternly.

" But Danii." He pleaded giving my the puppy dog face.

" No." I said looking away.

He crossed his arms over his chest with a *Hmph* and sulked. I just laughed and walked out of my office and took the elevator down to the parking garage that was under the building.

" Time to get Serani James." I muttered darkly.
