Kakeru's PoV

It can't be...can it?

I stared at the photo of the two smiling children. Whom both, even though at a young age, had bright ginger hair and shining hazel eyes.

Even at the wildest thought, let's say this girl is Sakura...then is her twin dead? Why's she on earth...without any memories?

My lips pressed together in a thin line. I slipped the photo into my suit inner pocket. I have a feeling that I shouldn't jump to conclusions right now.

All will be revealed on Sakura's tenth day.

Which is near tomorrow.

Sachiko's PoV

(Last Day)

I let out a long sigh.

I've been lying here in bed and staring up at my ceiling for nearly ten minutes now.

Today's my last day alive and yet I found no meaning in these extra days. I found nothing, basically.

Extremely unmotivated, I tumbled out of bed and face-planted into the floor, not even caring that I have a massive bed head.

All of a sudden, I heard footsteps coming closer from outside. I quickly pulled my night gown over my knees so my undergarments won't show. But I was still sitting on the floor.

Satoru opened my door without even knocking.

"Somebody fell outta bed." He remarks, I suddenly felt self-conscious of my morning appearance. My hands flew to my head to at least comb through my bed head a little.

Total futile. I'm sure it looks like a bird nest.

"Ya think?" I say back. He didn't let out a wicked smirk or a snicker like I expected. Instead, he just smiled a little.

"Meguru told me to get you for breakfast." That's all he says before closing the door.

Hmm weird.... I get up from my comfy spot on the floor and head to the bathroom to wash up.

It's my last day...I'll be gone from this world by tonight.

Make today the fullest!

With some newfound determination, I let out a deep breath before going to the dining room, where everybody was enjoying a nice breakfast...except Shiki.

"Good morning." I say casually as I take my usual seat down.

Takara glanced at me. Her eyes showed worry.

'Her last day...it wasn't long before I was in her shoes myself....Kakeru risked his life to save me....' Her mind was practically an open book as she was slightly smiling to herself now. I see...Kakeru broke the demon law himself to save Takara.

My eyes glance to Kakeru. His expression seemed heavier than usual as he sipped on his miso soup.

'However it is now, everything will be clear once today's up for Sakura.' I frowned at his thought. He's hiding something from me. Did he actually knew about bits and pieces of my past but just didn't tell me?

"Kakeru?" my voice seemed to startle him, "did you...find anything?"

Suspicion and doubt was already in my voice, I'm sure he could hear it. But he shook his head anyways.

I narrow my eyes as hard as I can at him.

'Now's not the time.'

Then when is? Today's my last day. He couldn't possibly be planning to tell me at my last minute, right?
