As i walked down the halls of W.E Dubois High, i got stares from people in the halls. One boy even brought it upon himself to whistle at me. As i reached my locker, i put everything i didn't need up and began to walk to my first class, which is AP English. I pulled out my phone as i began to walk and i bumped into someone. When i walked in class everyone stared at me. " You Must be April? " the teacher asked. It took me a while to respond, " Yes , I'm April ". " Alright , you can sit right next to Mr.Jackson, Mr.Jackson Raise your hand please. " I looked around and my eyes landed on Joc. Why can't i get away from this boy, i thought to myself. " Hey bae, right? " I thought back to when i told him to call me bae. I was at a lost for words. " Ha Ha , real funny " i replied. As i sat in the cafeteria i couldn't help but think about April. The way she pushed her legs together when i said something nasty. the way the vein in her neck pops out when she blushes. Man i like everything about her. My phone interrupted my thoughts about asia.

After that i turned my phone off because April walked in. i motioned for her to come sit with me and my crew. " April This is , Michael, Kayla, Mya, and Kareon.

When he motioned for me to come over and introduced me, i received death glares from everyone in here. Even from some guys. " Girl dont worry about them, they just jealous boo. " kayla told me and i nodded.
