A beer bottle smashes my face and I grab it in pain. Blood is pouring down my fur and I scream at him.

Slowly I move my paws away from my bleeding face and muzzle. He has this look of 'shit what have I done she is my daughter' with another side of 'ass hole you deserved it'

I give him this look, I make myself fierce and pull back my ears. I stand up straight, making myself a bit taller then him. I fluff out my fur as far as I can and open my jaws.

A growl with all my teeth showing, blood drips onto them then slides off, painting the floor crimson.

His ears pin down nervous and I whisper, "get out." His pupils are small and he runs off. As soon as I hear the front door shut I sigh and collapse with pure exhaustion. I'm losing blood. And a lot.

The world spins and I reach for my phone. everything is screaming in my face, inching me closer to death. My heart bangs trying to escape from my blood stained body. I grab the phone, my vision going blurry and I click on some random contact and called them, I didn't care who I just needed help.

The phone rings, lasting an hour and I pray that they answer. I hear a little click and someone says from the other line "hello."

Who is that? I guess it doesn't matter right now I'll figure it out later. Every breath is an anvil, stacking higher and higher on top of my chest "It-it's Sy-" I'm cut off by a harsh cough. The words take my breath and I can hardly breath. The world spins and spins and starts getting darker. I think I said something. maybe it was me calling for help or maybe it was just another weird cough. I hear "SYTHE? Are you okay? Why did you call again? Sythe. I'm calling 911 okay?"

I know who it is now. That tone. The soft calm whisper of him. Casanova Arreal. Before I can respond the world collapses in on itself, blood red and siren filled.
