Chapter 9: Jink and Alykxandyr

....Harmony's Point of View.... 

"Wh-what if he-he hates m-me, H-Har-Harmony?" Jinx Valter worried to me as we stood near the lake.

"He'll love you, Jinx, don't you worry. Jeremy will do anything to protect you." I told him honestly but Jinx didn't look too sure. "Listen, Jinx, he'll be here soon. So just cool off and sit down. Everything will just be fine." I tried to reassure him and he nodded shakily running a hand through his black hair, electric blue tips on his hair, and I moved him to sit down on a tree stump as I pace waiting for Jeremy.

I heard some cry's for help so I orbed off into this room seeing Barbas, the Demon of Fear, trying to attack Jinx here and I got him out of there getting Barbas back down in his punishment. So much for Friday the 13th and coming here after five-hundred years.

Anyways, the Elder's told me Jinx would become Jeremy's charge and also Jinx just so happened to be a Demigod so he'd stay here in Camp in the Hermes cabin since we don't know his cabin really is yet. Jinx has a small problem with speech because he stutters a lot, but it's alright, everybody has a small problem. Like everyone here has ADHD or Dyslexia.

Jeremy orbed next to me 30 minutes later and I look at him. "Where the hell were you?" I ask him.

"Tattoo parlor." He answered simply like it was no big deal I glance down to his wrist and saw the tattoo which almost looked like mine only smaller. I nodded and look over to Jinx and gestured for him to stand up to introduce himself to my brother.

....Third Person's Point of View....

Harmony gestured Jinx Valter to stand up which he did and looked at the boy in front of him shyly. "I a-am J-Jinx V-Valter." he stuttered horribly to Jeremy, Jeremy feeling a funny feeling, like his tummy was full of butterfly's, at the younger boy in front of him.

"I heard a distress call for help inside a building while looking for supplies for our chariot, well, for Perce and Tyson. And Jinx was in the corner whimpering scared. Barbas attacked him this afternoon and is haunting him." Harmony explained how she found the younger boy and Jeremy nodded and looked at Jinx, he could feel sympathy for the kid, Barbas isn't a heartful guy all he cares for his revenge and fear. He's attacked Jeremy's and Harmony's family so many times to get revenge when they banished him. Barbas always disliked Jeremy and tried so many times to get Jeremy kicked out of the Underworld by Hades. It never worked though.

Jeremy looked at Jinx who was shifting his feet awkwardly and shyly, in the back of his mind he thought it was cute, but he ignored it and decided to show the kid around. "Okay, Jinx, I'm Jeremy." Jeremy introduced himself to the younger boy. "Why don't me and Harmony show you around?"

"Actually," Harmony says rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly. "I have this date Aunt Piper set me up to help with the restaurant." Harmony wasn't lying, this band Piper wants to hire is gonna have dinner with her, Melinda, Chris, and Wyatt. Apparently the guy saw a family picture and spotted Harmony and noticed his son would probably love Harmony and set them up on a date before Aunt Piper or Uncle Leo could decline. They can't get out of it either because they'd lose the band if they did.

"Oh." Jeremy said, sounding slightly disappointed. "O-okay, it'll just be me and Jinx." He said and looked at the younger boy who looked back then looked away to stare at the lake and Harmony sighed. "I'm sorry J, Jinx, but I'll see you guys when the nightmare is done." Harmony apologized, she kissed her brother's cheek in a sisterly fashion, waved goodbye to Jinx and orbed out to the Poseidon cabin to get ready for her, as to say, "date" as Jeremy awkwardly showed Jinx around.

Harmony wasn't having fun, she got dressed up for this stupid date for her aunt Piper, and what's the worst sanario?(sp?). The guy brought another girl.
