Free Falling

Chapter 1

'Mom!!!! Where is my jacket? I can't find it anywhere.' ' Look around you must have thrown it somewhere I'm sure.'' Ugh! Why does this always happen to me only??.'

'Found it! Hey mom can you maybe call dad and ask when he will be here?'' Why should I? U know I don't talk to lame people. Besides when did he ever care about us anyway. He ruined my life........ ' And here she starts again.

So yeah this is pretty much how my life goes everyday. A person to call dad but basically absent though he claims to be 'providing' for me and a mom who is constantly yelling at me about him. Fun right? It's to get away from this daily drama that I'm going to Kolkata and of course it was and is my lifelong dream. Don't get me wrong I love my parents but they have their life on track. My dad left us for a tramp and my mom is happy with her work life. They are my world though but for now my world needs a change. They are cool though and they love me very much. 

' Hey dad where are you? The flight leaves in about two hours. '

 ' I'm right outside kiddo, come on out.'

Now the part where I was leaving was very dramatic with my Dad clicking pictures with his 100 year old camera and my mom all teary eyed and in hysterics.... You get the point....so let's skip it. As I sat in the plane, hundred feet above the ground, engulfed inside an envelope of clouds all I could think was.... Finally I'm letting go of the past and looking forward. Hello Kolkata... Here I come.
