Greg looked around in his new bedroom. It was small, but not to small. A bed with a bedside cabinet, a wardrobe, and a small desk. It was more than enough for him at the moment. His wife was not really happy to hear that he moved to another woman, although he insisted that there was no romantic relation between him and Molly. She didn't believed him. Whatever.
Molly knocked at his door. "Do you Need something?"
"No, but thank you." awkward silence.
"Okay. Uhm, I don't have a regular eating time, but i cooked something and when you want..."
She was to sweet. Of course he said yes. Greg laid the table and Molly presented a wonderful meal with a red wine. Maybe it was the alcohol but they had relaxed evening.
One hour later they still were sitting at the table, the bottle of wine nearly empty.
"I can't believe you" Molly chuckled.
"But it's true. My ex wife forced me to do this." Greg smiled at Molly, who got the giggles.
"I just can't pictured you in a cookery course."
"I will prove it. I will cook for you tomorrow." Greg said solemnly.
The next day was a Saturday so Greg kept his promise and went to the Supermarket. He thought a lot about what he should cook. For a wonder he wanted to impress Molly. He decided to cook Coq au wine.
He kicked Molly out of the kitchen and cooked. And it was fun. It was fun to cook for someone who was really excited to see what he created.
When he presented the Coq in wine, Molly looked more than impressed. Mission fulfilled. Greg was proud like a little Boy. They talked about this and that, films, books, interests and political opinions. They had a lot in common, but still some disagreements they could discuss.
It became an unspoken agreement that they cooked together every Weekend. On working days they both ate outside.
And Greg was surprised how much he learned about Molly. Well, you can't live with someone without going to know him. He recognized how she likes her coffee. With a drop of milk. And that she was not approachable before she got it. He recognized that she hummed when she was happy. He recognized her Obsession with this one TV Show. What her favorite wine was. And he recognized that he was falling in love with all of that, with all of Molly Hooper.
But what was with Molly? He couldn't tell how she felt. So he confined oneself to make sheep's eyes at her over the table.
Greg remembered one morning. He wanted to shower and Molly just left the bathroom. They ran into each other. For a Moment there was an awkward silence, when he realized that Molly just wore a towel. They both blushed, but Greg couldn't help but to notice her Body. Her sexy Body. As a Gentleman he apologized and stepped aside. But it was a cornerstone on his way falling in love with Molly.
Days and weeks went by. Greg still didn't told Molly about his Feelings. Maybe tomorrow he said. But he said that every evening when he laid in his bed. The guest room became his own littel place. A place where he felt home and save.
But this evening he was going to tell her. It was a friday and after work he went to the Supermarket to make Coq au wine, the first thing he cooked for her. Greg was nervous like a School Boy. He was going to tell her how much she meant to him.
Molly was late this evening. When she finally arrived, the meal was ready long ago.
"Hey. wow, this smells good." she came in.
"Yes. I have a special reason." She must noticed how nervous he was.
Molly set down and started to eat. Maybe he should brought some flowers. It was to late anyway.
"Coq au wine. You cooked it when you moved in" Molly said before Greg had a Chance to start.
"Yes..."
"You worked at this interesting case. You never told me who it was." Molly looked at a confused Greg.
"What? Oh. Yes. The four victims. It seemed that a guy called Moran was behind this. A friend of Moriarty. He wanted to confuse the Police and Sherlock. Well, to cut a Long Story short, Sherlock helped a lot. He came behind Morans Intention, but sadly Moran escaped last minute." Greg spoke quickly. That was not the dialogue he had in mind.
Later at the very same evening they set together in the living room, watching Mollys favorite Show, who became one of his Shows, too. But Greg was watching more at Molly than at the TV.
At the Commercial break Molly finally noticed.
"You're okay?" she asked smiling at him. Greg didn't know how to answer. He wanted to say yes, but of course nothing was okay. He was dying to tell her. To say it right into her beautiful Brown eyes.
They stared into each other eyes. And Molly was leaning Forward. Just a little bit. Greg closed the gab between them and pushed his lips on hers. Molly instantly kissed back.
"I love you Molly Hooper" Greg whispered.
Molly beamed at him "I love you too"
