183: Hagoromo The Traitor Of The Ōtsutsuki Family

"Damn it! Where did those two run away?" Izanami cursed.

She stomped her foot in anger, and a whole mountain smashed into pieces. But the broken rocks didn't fall to the ground. Instead, the heavy boulders and dust just floated up into the air, drifting around her like clouds.

That was because this place was the Pure Land, where normal rules didn't work. There was no gravity to pull things down, no up or down, and no air. Huge pieces of rock just floated like ice in the sea.

Standing among the floating rocks, Izanami stood in midair with a very annoyed expression. The resentment coming from her is basically tangible now.

Well, she was really annoyed now. Those two rats somehow managed to hide from her detection methods. This made her very dissatisfied, especially after she boasted about being able to find them again. Izanami felt like Hagoromo had slapped her face with this stunt.

And so the furious Izanami began to hunt Hagoromo desperately. She went on destroying every single hideout Hagoromo had created for all these years after destroying more than 20 bases and freeing more than 10,000 souls who were under Hagoromo's control. These guys are the most powerful ninjas in their eras, with half of them belonging to Uchiha, Uzumaki, and Senju.

Although Izanami didn't find Hagoromo or Gamamaru, she decided to stop here because the damage she had done for now was enough to make Hagoromo feel regret. And besides, she is very sure those two would definitely come back from their hiding place. At that time, she can deal with them personally.

She tapped her feet, and soon her shadow grew, and a hundred yokai members appeared. These guys all wore jet-black, form-fitting robes made of fine shadow-silk that clung perfectly to their bodies, allowing them to move without making a single sound. They all wore fox-shaped masks, hiding their faces and cold expressions.

As the hands and feet of Izanami, these yokai members didn't need any command. They immediately went into action. They all went forward and began commanding these toads to move and signing many unfair treaties.

Seeing these guys already have things under control, Izanami teleported away. She decided to go and bury her tired heart in Hinami's bosom to heal herself.

With a flash of light, she appeared right inside Hinami's room. And under Hinami's confused gaze, she went straight towards Hinami's bosom. Izanami then began to rub her head and chuckle like a certain pervert.

Hinami had a helpless expression as she let Izanami enjoy herself. Well, staying with a pervert for many years, she also began to enjoy this. After all, many couples tend to break up due to a lack of attention.

"So what has happened that even you look so upset?" Hinami asked as she patted Izanami's head in comfort.

Hinami blinked in surprise, her hand pausing for a moment before she continued to gently stroke Izanami's long hair. She knew how much Izanami wanted to kill that toad, so it was no wonder she came back looking so furious.

"Hagoromo actually stepped in?" Hinami asked softly.

"Yes! And he was already beaten black and blue by my Haki, but he still managed to slip away at the last second," Izanami grumbled, her eyes flashing with a bit of lingering anger. "I was so mad that I completely destroyed the pocket dimension they were hiding in. But they are still out there somewhere in the Pure Land. Next time I find those two, I'm going to tear their souls apart and torture them for a full eternity!"

Like that, Izanami began to honestly speak about what happened. If it were someone else, she would never tell this, as this is clearly black history for her. But since this is Hinami, Izanami didn't care much. And besides, this wasn't the first Black history she knew, nor the biggest she knew. Hinami had seen Izanami at her absolute worst and her most embarrassing moments over the years, so a little setback like this was nothing.

" So what are you going to do next? " Hinami asked as she saw that Izanami was finished speaking about her grievances.

Hinami didn't get angry at Izanami trying to kill Hagoromo. After all, like Izanami, she too knew the hypocritical nature of her uncle. In fact, like Izanami, both Hinami and Kyomi had little grudge against Hagoromo. After all, it was he who made their families break apart.

One could say that in the Ōtsutsuki family, Hagoromo is a traitor whom everyone hates. Even Ashura, who once stood by his side, also distanced himself during his last days.
