After 5 years ...

Mairin who is now 16 is on her way to go see her friend Steven (Daigo) the Hoenn champion. After receiving a phone call from him he let's her know he's in Kalos and would like to see her again as it's been quite a few years since they last saw each other. Her partner Chespie (Chespin) is now a Chesnaught. She let's him out of his pokeball and starts smiling at his trainer.

Mairin: Alright Chespie! We're gonna go meet with Steven! Since Venasaur can mega evolve let's battle!
Steven: Hello! Oh is that you Mairin?Haha I can barely recognise you, you've grown into a beautiful young women.
Mairin: Oh thank you Steven! *blushing* Anyways it's really nice to see you again! Have you kept in touch with Alain?
Steven: Ah no I haven't I'm sorry... but I thought you 2 would still be travelling by now...
Mairin: No we decided to go separate ways... *a look of hurt on her face*
Steven: is everything okay?
Manon: Oh yeah, everything is fine!
Steven: Do you 2 still like each other?
Mairin: I don't know...
Steven: Hmm, I have a feeling he feels the way you do I'm sure you 2 will probably meet again!
Mairin: Yeah! Anyways I was gonna ask you do you mind battling my mega Venasaur?
Steven: I see you have a mega necklace... Alright let's battle! Metagross I choose you!
Mairin: Alright Venasaur let's do this!
Both: Mega Evolve!
*Meanwhile whilst the 2 were battling a young man was walking by with his trusted partner Charizard. He petted his charizard and noticed an explosion going on he ran to where it was and when the smoke cleared he saw Steven his old friend and companion and then he saw her.. The girl he had left years go so she didnt get hurt because of him anymore. He had left her because of that reason.
Alain: Wow she's grown... she's beautiful.. *staring in awe* He then realises he may still have feelings for her.
Mairin: Venasaur you okay?!
Steven: You've raised Venasaur well.. I'm impressed! That was an amazing battle let's do it again some time
Mairin: Ah Venasaur return... thanks for your hardwork now take a good rest. Thanks Metagross was powerful as always haha should we go get something to eat? I'm starving!
Alain: They're having so much fun..  maybe he's more suited for her than I am... let's go Charizard! *he runs off and Steven notices*
Steven: *he's got the wrong idea oh no...wait!*
Mairin I'll be right back there's something I need to take care of quickly! Meet me at a restaurant called Sushi Roller! My treat see ya!
Mairin: Okay? Wait Steven! Oh he's gone... Hm come on out Leafeon!
Lets go into the city to find a place called Sushi Roller
Leafeon: Leaaaf~
Mairin: Alright let's go girl!

*Steven manages to catch up to Alain and stops him*
Alain: S-steven?!
Steven: Why did you run away?
Alain: I thought it'd be better if you look after her since you make her happy..
Steven: Oh come on! We're just friends and to tell you the truth I've actually got a fiancé back in Hoenn. Manon still has feelings for you and I told her I think you feel the same way... so tell me if I'm wrong?
Alain: Guess I can't lie to you... yes I love her actually!  I only parted ways for her safety I couldn't risk losing her... I didn't want her to get into any more danger because of me. Without her I couldn't do anything... I need her and I want her right here in my arms.
Steven: Well you should go tell her not me haha!
Alain: Uhhh right.. I knew that and congrats on your engagement hope it goes well!
Steven: Yeah thanks you 2 are invited to the wedding!
Alain: Wow thanks man!
Steven: Wanna join us for lunch? I'm paying ;)
Alain: Oh umm okay...
Steven: Great let's go!
*with Mairin*
Mairin: Oh where is Steven?! I'm hungry.. What about you girl you hungry?
Leafeon: Leaaaf!
Mairin: Yeah don't worry girl!
Steven: Ah I'm sorry! let's go inside shall we?
Mairin: Yeah!
Steven: Order whatever you like!
I have someone who would like to see you too!
Mairin: Who? & thanks!
Alain: Uhh... Hey...
Mairin: A-Alain?! H-h-hi..
Steven: I saw him on my way here and invited him for lunch with us is that okay?
Mairin: Uh yeah sure, that's cool with me
Waiter: What can I get you all?
Especially for the champion of Hoenn!
Steven: Ah well I'll have lobster and Razz berry soup please. 
Manon: I'll take the razz Berry spaghetti please!
Alain: I'll have the chicken coated in razz berries and with rice as well.
Waiter: Any for your Pokemon?
Mairin: Yes pokemon food for grass types and dragon!
Alain: fire type one for my charizard.
Steven: Steel type for my Metagross.
Waiter: Alright I'll be back with your orders what would you like  to drink?
Mairin: I'll have water.
Steven: Same goes here.
Alain: Yeah here too.
Waiter: certainly I'll be right back
Mairin: So Alain how have you been? I mean it's been years!
Alain: Yes it has, well you know battling more trainers and winning and losing I went back to challenge Siebold again I still lost but I got more exp. So yeah what about you? It's been 5 years...
Mairin: Well I have a Venasaur that can mega evolve, and a whole bunch of other pokemon! I've collected 6 badges of Kalos and I'm on my way to Anistar city after this so I can get my 7th badge!
Alain: I see that's amazing, Good Luck!
Mairin: Yeah hey can we exchange numbers? I mean we're friends right?
Alain: *just friends?... I got to tell her soon* Yeah sure here.
Mairin: Alright thanks I'll call you sometime!
Waiter: Sorry for the wait your food Is here.
Mairin: Omg yes!! Alright everyone come on out!
Alain: So Chespie evolved into a Chesnaught?
Mairin: Yeah! He's pretty strong but we learned he can't mega evolve..
Alain: At least one of your pokemon can.
Mairin: Yeah! I'm happy about that *smiles*
Alain: Oh wow this food is really good...
Steven: I agree with you there.
Mairin: This food is amazing!
Steven: You've got a wonderful team of all green pokemon hahaha!
Mairin: Oh shush! So what? My flygon isn't a grass type okay!
Alain: Its a dragon and ground quite a nice choice and it can fly too.
Mairin: Right actually Flygon helped me get my 5th badge!
Alain: Thats nice, well done Flygon *pets his head*
Flygon: Flyy!
Mairin: He likes that haha, he can be such a kid sometimes.
Steven: Hmm, well Mairin before I head back I have some news to tell tho Alain already knows.
Mairin: Ohh okay what's up?
Steven: I'm getting married soon and I would like you 2 to come as a couple *smirks*
Alain/Mairin: A-as a couple?!
Alain: Umm
Manon: What why as a couple?
Steven: Cuz you 2 still like each other so why not?
Alain: Um, I need to go now thanks for the food bye guys!
Mairin: Huh Alain? Wait up!
Alain: *runs off leaving them there*
