Chapter 10: What am I thinking of

Fiona's POV

What did he just say...

There's no way...

He can't...

It's impossible...

He's just a REALLY good guesser...

Yeah, just guessed exactly what you were thinking...

Wait did I say it out loud...?

I looked back to him, he just shook his head 'no'.

"Then, then you can-" My palms got sweaty, my face was starting to burn.

He cut me off. "I'm sorry Fi, it's not my fault..."

Are we even talking about the same thing anymore?

"I can't control it, " He added.

Yup, we are clearly talking about to different things.

As if reading my mind he adds, "No Fi, I can read minds..."

That's what I was afraid of. All those times when it seemed like he could almost read my mind... That's why.

Oh.

Dear.

Glob.

He knows some of my secrets.

The problem is, which ones...

"Sorry Fi, I'll never tell." There he goes again reading my mind! Can't he turn that thing off!?

"Nope~"

Ok NOW he's mocking me. I rolled my eyes. Now that I know he can read my mind, I'll be extra carful around this vampire. I hope he never finds out- mmmm never mind.

"What, what was that?"

Now it was my turn to use it for my advantage. I smirked.

"Oh no nothing~" I sang.

"That's unfair!" He pouted.

"Unfair!? Unfair!? You can read my mind at anytime you want! How is me keeping a secret unfair! You sit probably know too much already!"

Marshall gave me a wide grin. Oh great I will never hear the end of it! He's going to black mail me with my own personal biz?! Sigh. This sucks.

"Maybe I do know things...?"

More than a question and less than a statement the way he said it.

"Things that, even... Oh I don't know~

Cake know..."

Cake know...

Cake know..?

Cake know..!

That last part, like ringing in my ears.

3rd POV

She twirled her head to face him. Complete worry drawn in her eyes, as she started to breath a little heavier. He hands began to shack a little at just the thought of him knowing something Cake doesn't?!

His grin getting even wider, if possible. Fiona's face looked like a bright red tomato. She figured out what he knew. Oh boy was she not happy.

"Don't you dare tell a single person that, especially Cake! Do you understand me!?!?" Her voice cracking left and right. She was holding him down now. This was something that only Fiona knew, ONLY. Well now Marshall knew too.

"Oh Bunny, how everyone thinks your so innocent." Marshall stated.

Fiona sure hope he wasn't going to say it, because if he did she might just freak out.

"My, my, my... Who knew a little girl like you would be doing something like that? Humm?"

"It's none of your business Marshall!" She basically screamed at him.

He put his hands up. "Fine, fine, fine."

'Marshall is such a jerk! Why does he need to know that? That's right he doesn't!!' Fiona thought to her hopeless self

"Owch! Hurtful! I may be immortal but I have feelings you know..."

'Oh yeah that's right, I CAN'T kill him.' She sighed

"Well the sun can." He stated.

"Can't you turn the chizz off!?"

"No, not really. You see I don't 'read' people's minds. They kinda just talk to me..."

"But wait, what happened when your in a crowded room, or like nobody is around?" Fiona asked, now curious of his special ability. She always wanted to know more about him every chance she got. The vampire, even though having a big ego, never really talked about himself to often. So any chance she got she took it.

"I can kinda pick a chose what I hear, but none the less it still is annoying in those situations. As for no one around, I can't hear anything."

The last part was kind of obvious...

'It must really rock to be able to know what people are thinking, but maybe not all the time. Sometimes you just don't WANT to hear what people are thinking, especially if it's about you.' Fiona thought to herself, even though Marshall could hear her loud and clear.

He has heard things in the past that he really didn't want to hear. One of them being his ex girlfriend, Ashley, never really loved him.
