We made it to Emily's place. Jacob and I both disembarked from the motorcycle.
"We should chat with Sam indoors," Jacob suggested.
"Okay," I said.
Upon entering their house, we looked for Sam and didn't see him. I saw everyone else in the house when I caught sight of Emily in the kitchen. We approached her.
"Hey, Emily, have you seen Sam around?" Jacob inquired.
"He's in our bedroom."
"Thanks."
Jacob took my hand, leading me to their bedroom. When we walked in, Sam was watching a football game with Paul and Embry.
Embry flashed a smile. "How was your day?" he inquired.
"Fine, I guess," I responded.
"That's good."
"So Sam," Jacob said.
"Yes,"
"Bella survived the day without being detrimental."
"Good. You must adjust to everyone's presence for an entire week now."
I swallowed. "Everyone?" I asked.
"Everyone, especially your father," Sam responded in a severe tone.
I'm leaving anyway, so that will not happen.
'"You mean I have to tell my father I'm okay?" I asked.
"Yes." Sam responded.
I nodded and glanced at Jacob. "What am I going to do?" I inquired.
"Bella, you must be around your dad to pass this test."
I nodded. "Okay, when?" I asked.
"Soon."
I turned to Sam and said, "Sure, I'll do it."
"Good. Well, bye."
"Bye." Jacob and I said.
We exited the bedroom and proceeded to the front door. Glancing back at Jacob, I noticed his sad face. "What's up?" I inquired, curious about his mood.
"I have this feeling that you will leave me."
"Jake, I will not leave you." I lied.
I am leaving Jacob and unsure when to tell him this. His heart will shatter into a million pieces.
"Well, it's getting late. I should go home because Edward might worry about me." I said.
"I bet," Jacob said.
I grabbed the stuff, hugged Jacob, and said, "See you later, Jake."
"Bye, Bella,"
I pulled away, walked out the door, headed to the car, and drove home.
