5 - Matilda

                  

The man teleports us to a strange island that's connected to Canada. According to him, they called the island Six Lives. We stand at the highest peak of the island, as the man talks to us.

     "So, I'm Ike, your guider." He introduces.

     "Oh- so you're like a teacher?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.

     "No. Teachers and guiders are total opposites."

     "Really? They're the same to me." Elizabeth agrees.

     He rolls his eyes.

     "Okay! Whatever! I am the wife of this woman we're after." Ike continues.

     "Ew! Gross!" Chloe, Elizabeth, and I exclaim in harmony.

     "Girls..." Connor chuckles.

     "Anyway, she's Desmonia. She used to be known as Alana, but that changed when she was cursed by a strange thing that was supposed to come from the ocean where this island drowned over 100 years ago." Ike continues.

     "But how did it get here again?" Jacob asks.

     "Heroes. By the name of Jade and Eliot Millard." He answers.

     "Is it even safe to be here?!" I panic, looking around, trying to remain calm.

     "They in live in North Carolina." Elizabeth replies.

     "When did you find that out?" Chloe asks.

     "A few days ago when my dad almost hit Eliot's car."

     Jacob and Connor laughed, while I covered my mouth giggling with Chloe.

     "Okay... So now that you told us who you are and who the girl is, what do we do now?" Connor asks, crossing his arms.

     "We keep on looking. Now we have to go to New York to find the Teenage Avengers." Ike answers.

     I look up the Avengers from my Apple Watch. They're a- soccer ball team? It shows that on Google, with a group of at least 10 kids in the Avengers costumes.

     "They sound like a soccer ball team." Elizabeth says.

     "They were!" I exclaim in shock, showing Elizabeth.

     She raises her eyebrows, later looking at Ike pretty mad.

     "So you brought us here to look for a soccer team?"

     "No. They're members of a secret organization." Ike answers.

     "Kind of us!" I exclaim.

     "Matilda!" Chloe hisses.

     "Easy... Just find them. Time is running out." He says.

     "STOP THEM!" We hear a woman scream.

     We look up, seeing her, on a broom like a witch.

     "There's the bruha!" Elizabeth exclaims.

     "Bruha?" I ask.

     "That means witch in Filipino."

     "I don't care! Let's just get rid of her!" Connor shouts, changing his hand into a gun!

     "Okay! I got a plan! Connor, you and Elizabeth take care of the woman! The rest of us will go to find the Avengers!" Jacob plans.

     "The Teenage Avengers." Chloe corrects.

     He rolls his eyes.

     "Whatever! Take us away Ike!" Jacob commands.

     Ike sends Chloe, William, and I to New York to find the group. I hope that Connor and Elizabeth are alright, though.
