"Hey, Katniss." I find myself settling my head on Peeta's lap. He is gorgeous; that warm blue eyes that squint when he smiles, a creak of white rays of teeth peeking every time he smiles, his strong beautiful jawline. I adore his feature, but I adore his heart more.

"Peeta." I smile back, caressing his left cheek. I get up and sit next to him, shoulder to shoulder. I notice he wears a white suit with white bowtie. It suits him really well. To think about it, I always seen him on his apron-well, I've seen him once on a suit on the interview night. Suit does him really well. "How is it there, Peeta?"

"Well, apart from not being able to see you in person, it's kind of nice up here. But hey, now I'm able to stalk you wherever you go." He winks and laughs a bit. The kind of childish laugh he always had.

"Shut up, Peeta!" We laugh together in serene.

"How are you feeling, Katniss?" He caressed my hair.

"I'm not doing well. I miss you a lot you know." I let my head fall on his shoulder.

"Don't be like that, Kat. You're the girl on fire, remember?" He put his head on top of my head.

"I feel helpless. I feel that I'm letting you down."

"No Katniss you're not letting anyone down. In fact, I'm really thrilled when you accepted that you like me." He lets his smile hanging.

"But now it's all too late, Peeta."

"No Katniss. I'm content with the fact that our love has truly ever been mutual. I'm enough with just that. Now please Katniss you have your life ahead of you. Don't chase the dead, love the living." He wraps his hands around my shoulder.

"How can you say that? It's not that easy, Peeta." At this point I might start crying.

"How about this, you consider that as my last wish. You fulfill your life for me. You think you can do that for me?"

"I will try for you, Peeta."

"Now hug me." But instead of hugging him, I kiss him passionately.

"Be strong my girl." With that words and his childish smile, he disappears into thin air.

A creak of sun rays from my bedroom's window wakes me up. So Peeta's presence was just a dream. But that dream must mean something, right? I believe the Peeta I know would have done the same as the Peeta I met on my dream. I truly adore his heart. With that thinking, I get off my bed heading outside, ready to face the judgment day.

"Good afternoon, Sweetheart." Says Haymitch from the dining table holding what looks like a cup of coffee. Hmm this is unusual.
"Oh by the way, I carried you to your room last night, in case if you are wondering."

"Yeah, thanks, Haymitch. Where is Effie?" I grab a toast from the table while I look around the apartment in search of Effie.

"She said she had business to be taken care of. I don't know what though. Oh, you have to meet Cinna for preparation on 3."

"Yeah. Anyways, what should I do in the interview? You said you've discussed something with Cato's mentors." I get some roast on my plate.

"Yeah about that. We have the deal that you Katniss just have to be your cheeky self as usual, people love it anyway."

"What? No! We have to be prepared! What if Caesar asked something controversial? We have to convince a god damn nation, Haymitch! Come on, help me here!"
