MIA's POV
"RIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGG" The bell sounds through the speaker.
"Hello Meadows High School Students,There are no announcements today, so i hope you all have a wonderful summer, and I wish all of our graduated Seniors good Luck in the future, you are all dismissed." The principle says through the speakers.
Everyone in the class gets up and runs for the door way extremely excited to start their summer. I run outside to the usual spot the girls and I meet at after school, too see them standing right in front of the little garden getting one last look before we are away for good.
" Hey guys" i say standing next to Alex.
" Hey " They all say in unison.
There is a moment of silence between all of us. Just about everyone is off school grounds.
"Guys this is the last time we are gonna see this place" Alex says.
"Yea ,I'm gonna miss it here" Lindsay says
"We all are" I say
" Yea there are a lot of memories here" Dakota agrees with me
" Ha, remember that time we had to write a song for Mr. Allen's class and we decided to make it about Tacos and Spaghetti?"Lindsay ask.
"Spaghetti Tacos" we all sing in unison.
We all burst into laughter, thinking of that stupid song.
"How the HELL did we get a B+ on that project?" I ask
" I guess he never said it had to be a good song" Dakota says
All of a sudden i feel 2 strong arms wrap around my waist , pick me up and spin me around. When i am finally put down i see the same thing has been done to Dakota Alex and Lindsay. We all turn around to see 4 boys smiling at us.
"What the hell, Daniel you better watch your back." I say giggling but in a warning voice.
"Ooooooo Dan she used your full name your in troubllllllllleeeee" Chase says
"Shut up Chase" Zach says
" Wait are we all in trouble cause this was Dan's Idea? " Mat ask
"Well you agreed to the idea so ye you are all in trouble"Dakota says
"Damn " Mat whispers.
Okay let me Introduce these idiots, First we have Daniel, Dan is my guy best friend we kinda grew up together we've known each other since 5th grade he was the first friend I made when I moved to the states.
Now we have Chase. Chase literally grew up with Alex they have know each other for the entire 19 years of their lives, but they are best friends too.
Next, we have the world Famous Zachary Collins, Zach isn't really famous 8 entire neighborhoods , and the entire school know who he is and hes considered one of the hottest guys in school. He live next door to Lindsay they became best friends when Lindsay told him to "Fuck off and hes the shit head of the century.How did they decide they were best friends? The world may never know.
And last but not least Matias, he's Dakotas best Guy friend they met over the summer 3 years ago and have been inseparable ever since.
"So what are you guys gonna do?" Dan ask
"Yea last time we did something wrong you shaved our eyebrows in our sleep" Zach say touching his eyebrows.
"You'll have to wait and see" Lindsay says mischievously.
The boys have pure fear in their eyes they love their hair more than they love futbõl and video games.
" Ay you guys wanna spend the night at my place" I ask
"Yea" the boys answer at the same time
"Not you idiots, the girls" I say directing their attention towards the girls.
"Yea" Alex says.
"Sure" Dakota replies
"I have nothing better to do so why the hell not" Lindsay says.
"Mkay so go home pack ya stuff and be at the flat at about 6:00-6:30?" I ask
"Hey Zach can I get a ride home" Lindsay ask.
"Yea sure" Zach replies
"Wait what the hell are we supposed to do?" Chase ask
"Go do guy stuff invite them over play some video games I don't know" I answer
"Fine"Chase groans.
And with that everyone off to their cars to get ready for the sleep overs.
--------Another car ride later-------
When I get home I immediately notice moms car is in the driveway. Mom's car is almost always here, the only time she's not there if there is a huge business trip to go on, and Finn wasn't at school when I went to pick him up.
The only thing I can see from where I am is the old Family van.
I get out the car and enter my house.
"MUM, DAD, FINN?" I yell throughout the house.
No answer.
I walk into the kitchen and put my bag down on the table. Then I see a note taped on the fridge.
" Mia, Your father and I are going on a really Important business trip for the entire summer, and so you can do what you want this summer we picked Finn up early from school to put him in an over night summer camp. Pleas don't do anything stupid (you never really do) We love you - Mum and Dad
Ps. There is a present on your dresser."
I run upstairs extremely excited to see what I got. I get up to my room and see nothing new except a white envelop with my name on it sitting on the dresser next to my bed. I sit down on my bed and open the envelop. There is another note.
"Mia, since we are gone all summer and your brother is at summer camp we left you this credit card....."
I look in the envelope again to see a golden credit card with my name on it.
I go back to reading the note.
" On this credit cared is 8 grand, and I know what your thinking. What do you need 8 grand for? Well there are so many things you can do this summer why not expand your possibilities. OH and don't worry we have been Saving money for you since you were 2, one account for college, and the other on for fun and memories. Spend this money wisely. We love you. - Mum and Dad."
8 grand ? What the hell am I supposed to do with 8 grand, I'm not gonna spend it all on clothes and shopping that's just stupid.
"DING DONG" the noise rings throughout the house.
"COMING" I yell
