(Lucy's Perspective)
I try to hold back my anger towards myself so I go up to my owner (Susan) and claw at her unprotected legs. She ends up kicking me so I stop and take a cat nap.
When I wake up I see Jake hovering over me. I let out a ferocious hiss warning the feline (which I didn't know was Jake at the time) to get back or face the consequences. As I started to realize it was him I snapped back to reality and hiss "don't scare me like that you peasant!!!" He immediately regrets his actions and meows in defeat, "I-I'm sorry Lucy I just love the way you look w-while you're asleep. He tucks his head. My tail flicks up signifying I'm pleased at the complement. "I-I really like you Jake." He intertwined his tail with mine and we both purred.
