The Protector.

Introduction

"Broken souls, broken spirits, broken smiles, we all break. No one knows when, very few know why, but when we break we face the reality, we all become dark and twisted, we all hide our thoughts and feelings. Sometimes the strong ones don't break till the most important one is gone. But who is a strong one its certainly not me. I broke. I broke when I was lost.  But we as people only break to see if anyone really cares enough to pick up the pieces, and when they fix our soul, our smile, our spirit, we may then and only then find the one who will truly stick beside you. That is when you know your soul-mate has been found." I stopped reading. I didn't know what the hell that was but I knew it made NO FUCKING sense. I turned to see Chase behind me. "What's my sister reading now?" Chase asked playfully. "Just some old love poems, I guess." I replied in my soft sweet honey like voice. Chase gave me a look that showed how bad he fell for me, it was weak and innocent. Then Fallen had walked in and it disappeared as quickly as he let it come. "What the hell are you doing with Kinder?!" Fallen snapped at Chase. "I was just keeping her company, while you were away.." Chase replied with a hint of fear. "I thought I established rules for Kinder to be alone in her room at all times unless I'm here!" He growled this time. I slowly walked over to him and slide my arms around him. Then anger was gone as soon as he had me in his arms. I could feel what he felt, the reassurance that I was still safe. Chase disappeared in the mist of Fallen holding me. "Kinder, you should have let me scare him. He shouldn't be in here without me home, you know how I feel since..." I cut him off. "I know Fallen, I know. Don't worry anymore. I'm safe, I have you my protector, my mate, my world." I was easing him back into relaxing and feeling like he had control over me. I was letting him be the male. "Baby I just wanted you safe. I couldn't bare to lose you. I can barely handle being away from  you for 30 minutes." He pulled me into his lap in the process of whispering this to my neck. He slowly pulled the book away from my hands and laid me down on our bed. "You should get some sleep, you haven't slept in a few days. I know you haven't." He said. This was true I hadn't been sleeping, I'd been avoiding it. Every night he'd go to lay down and sleep I'd stay awake and watch everything else. Fallen's gold eyes had been the reason I'd meet him in the first place, he was so unusual, my original baby blue eyes had taken turn to gold like his when we were mated. My long beautiful black hair surrounded my face, I was looking at my mate, studying all his features. His perfectly toned body, his strength, his messy brown hair. He was amazing and he knew that. "I know your thinking about me." His voice echoed inside my head. This was the thing with mates, we feel what the other feels, we know what they think, we can sense them, and talk to each other without speaking. I hate when he drops in on my thoughts. "And like your not thinking about doing plenty of things to me.." I replied. "You know me, I'm always wanting you." He does always want me. He is the very controlling, jealous, protective type. "Sleep." He said this out loud this time. He laid beside me and pulled a blanket over me. "No body can hurt you, anymore. Your with me now. I promise your safe." He was reassuring me. I have only been with Fallen for a week now but it seems like forever. He found me, after we had became friends, beaten, naked, hurt, and raped. I can't remember much after he found me. Only that I was now a wolf.

'I was running, running as fast as I could to get away. They caught up to me, one held me down while the other beat the shit out of me. He slammed my head onto a rock and started tearing my clothes off...'  

I awakened with Fallen shaking me, hot tears streamed down my face as I remembered some of the night. I slowly got into Fallen's lap and let him rock me and comfort me. He was all I need to know I was safe. "What happened in here?! Is Kinder okay?!" Chase barged in with a bat and started searching the room for an intruder who wasn't there. "No body's in here just me and Kinder." Fallen said calmly and coo'd in my ear "Everything is okay, your safe with me now, I love you Kinder." Fallen gave Chase a look and he knew immediately what happened, he knew that I was remembering that night and at that moment I realized everyone knew more about what happened to me that night then I did myself. "Kinder don't think about it you don't need to know, all you need to know is your safe now and no one will ever touch you again." Fallen had dropped in on my thoughts again and I quickly changed my thoughts. "That's better baby." He said softly in my ear. "I love you." I whispered to him. He knows I love him, I just felt that I needed him to hear me say it. "I love you, too." His words took away all the hurt. I started to sink into his arms and he held my hand. As Chase walked in I heard a slight growl come from Fallen. "Chase we're having a moment." Fallen was irritated now. As I was looking around I saw a guy come out from behind Chase. "Hi, Kinder." He spoke with great pride and I would have recognized that voice from anywhere. "Who the hell are you and how do you know MY mate?!" Fallen was growling, he saw this guy as a full on threat. Slyly I tapped into Fallen, "He's one of the guys from that night." I told him. Fallen was now ready to kill this guy, to kill Jacob. Swiftly I pulled Fallen into a kiss and he lost all his anger and started kissing me passionately. This was a cue for Jacob to leave but he didn't he watched Chase walk out then stood there. "Done yet?" He asked. "No!" Snapped Fallen. Fallen was starting to pulls my clothes off when I stopped him, he looked hurt by this at first then he understood and walked over to Jacob. "Get out." Fallen had lost all patients. "Why?" Jacob was mocking, "so you can go back to kissing that whore?" Jacob was trying to start a fight. Running over to Fallen before he busted Jacobs lip was a challenge but I was there holding him back. Fallen shoved Jacob out and gave me a look that told me everything I need to know. That he wanted me, and he wanted me NOW, and nothing was stopping him from having me.

After our crazy love making, I was starting to wake up and I saw Chase, I screamed and Fallen quickly jumped awake and covered mine and his body. "WHAT THE HELL DUDE?!" Fallen said sleepily while cuddling me. "She's sexy bro.." Chase stuttered. "I know that but don't be checking MY mate out.." Fallen growled and held me close. "Sorry..." Chase said as he walked out. Fallen was still cuddling me and I quickly fell back asleep, worry-less, safe, at home.

3 hours later I woke up, to find Fallen was wolfed up at my feet. He was curled up, awake, being protective of me. I went wolf and curled up beside him. He started whining in excitement and licked my muzzle a bunch. I whined back and licked his tongue, in which his tail started thumping on the bed. My stomach growled and he knew what I was thinking, I wanted to hunt. He quickly sprinted out of the room and I chased after him. Soon we were hunting a deer. I quickly got a hold of the neck beating Fallen to the kill, with a quick jerk I cut all air ways off and killed him. Fallen seemed very impressed and helped me drag the deer home. On the way back we saw Jacob. Fallen dropped the deer and growled as he got between me and anyway Jacob could get near me. Jacob just ignored him and kept walking, smugly. When we finally got home we walked in as human's with the nasty crusted blood covering our skin. He slowly pulled me into the shower he had customized to be huge, 2 big rain-fall shower heads, and 12 smaller heads. 1 rainfall and 6 regular shower heads on both sides. He turned the water on and pulled me in. His hands roaming my body while his lips pressed into my lips. His warm breath over my shoulder. All of this made me weak and he knew it. Slowly pinning me to the wall, he whispered in my ear "I want you." He knew that I wanted him too with the small moan that came as a reply. He forced himself into me and thrusted with all his might. I was moaning and quickly coming to a climax when Chase walked in. Fallen pulled out and quickly covered my body. The glass doors being see threw we knew Chase was shocked and a little disturbed. I saw pure hurt in Chase's eyes like he felt as if I was betraying him. I realized shortly Fallen saw the same hurt. I was listening to Fallen's thoughts he was upset that he had liked me and then grateful to have such a sexy bad ass as me then understood why he fell for me, and boy did Chase fall hard. This was like a wake up call saying for sure that I'd never be his. That every part of me was already owned by his own brother. Chase stumbled out and Fallen kissed my cheek softly and cupped my face "I love you, Kinder. Your the light in my darkness. The flame in my heart.." His voice trailed off and I quickly pulled him back to reality when I slammed my mouth down on his. He kissed me back softly licking my lip as in asking me to open my mouth and allow him in, which I did. This long passionate kiss ended all to soon. He smelled Jacob enter the house and all his protective instincts kicked in. The only thing on his mind now was protecting me and going for the kill, which was Jacob.
