The Protector.

Chapter 4

    It was so cold out but I felt something warm and sticky running down my back as I was being dragged away. There were five guys surrounding me one of them was yelling something I didn't understand. "JC" I mumbled. "She's awake!" some guy by me yelled. There was a few cuss words mumbled. All of a sudden I could see clearly and then the floor came rushing up to meet me again. Someone rolled me over. "Hey pretty girl," he looked creepy and his eyes told me what he was thinking. "Rape!" I started screaming and kicking. "Shut her up!" someone else said. Then someone hopped on top of me and I saw the weapon of choice- a knife.

I woke up screaming. Even after I noticed I was back in the room I continued to scream and then the tears came. "Shh.. Shh..." I saw Fallen walk in. "It's okay, their gone... It's okay Kinder." he came to my bed side and brushed the tears away. "Your safe now." he whispered as he leaned in. I pulled back and I let out another scream. "A couple of your ribs are broken..." he looked hurt by the sight of me but continued, "don't move so fast, please." he was pleading with me to be careful. "I-" Chase walked in and he saw how close his brother was and looked really hurt but came to my side anyways. "Hey sleeping beauty.." I smiled at him trying to make me feel better. "Bad dreams?" he looked at me with the same hurt as Fallen. "Only a little." I lied big time. I don't even think they are dreams, I think they're my memories. "Your cute when you lie.." he mumbled this but I heard him say it. "Hey, Kinder I need to ask you a few questions.... about what happened..." Fallen said. I swallowed hard. "Shoot." I said trying to sound like I wasn't afraid to talk about it. "What happened?" I heard Chase blurt out. "The car wreck...." Chase frowned. "What car wreck?" he said. "The one I was in... I got out of the car I guess I slept threw the actual wreck but I don't know  how." I started to shake and Fallen grabbed my hand and softly squeezed. "It's alright." he whispered to me. "I was standing there trying to figure out what to do when I saw JC and a crew of some sort." I started shaking harder and the tears came fast. "I saw a bat and then next thing I knew the ground came rushing up." I said through sobs. "No more. It's fine we'll discuss more later." Chase said. I could feel the guilt he felt. "I think Chase is right... you should get some sleep." Fallen brushed my tears away and ran his thumb over my hand. I pretended to go to sleep knowing only bad things would come. "She blocked most of it out." I heard Fallen say. "I know but she looks so hurt. I just needed to know how bad it was. She obviously was taken out of our car." Chase said. "Yeah she didn't just leave." Fallen said. He came back to my side and I heard a small growl erupt from him. What the hell I thought. "Do you smell it?" Fallen sounded extremely angry. "Yes." I heard Chase whisper. "I'm going to kill them all, I'll do it nice in slow I want them to suffer the way she suffered. I want them to hurt." He was growling full on and I heard him leave. Chase walked over to my bedside and looked me over I think. "Your so beautiful... I'm sorry... so so sorry." he felt guilty for everything. I could tell. I felt it. I didn't understand why though. What really happened?

       At some point I guess I did fall asleep but I didn't dream this time. Thank God. "Kinder your free to leave the hospital anytime now." Fallen said when he saw my eyes flutter open. "Really?" I asked surprised to hear how excited I sounded and then I frowned. "What?" he asked quickly. "Nothing. I just.... I have no home." I replied slowly sitting up. It still hurt but it wasn't as bad as I thought. "You can stay..." I saw a blush creep into his cheeks, "at my place. We'd be more than willing to take you." I saw the blush deepen as he thought about what he said. "Take you home I mean." he stuttered. I giggled. I knew what he meant from the start. I got up and hugged him so fast I almost fainted. I went to jelly in his arms. "Easy now." he whispered, his arms wrapped tightly around me keeping me up. "Wouldn't want you to fall." his lips brushed by my ear, and he slowly picked me up and set me down on the bed and handed me some clothes to change into. "I'll be right outside when your done." I felt myself starting to blush as I realized I was basically naked. Smooth I thought. I changed quickly into the pretty turquoise sun-dress. I slid on my all stars which looked completely out of place with this dress. I walked out of the room and ran right into Chase. "Sorry." My voice got really high and I looked scared for my life I bet. "It's fine." he smiled a bit and put his arm around my back to steady me. "Feeling okay?" he asked but I saw his eyes roaming over me distracted. "Pretty good actually. Did your brother tell you?" I asked. He immediately tensed up and stopped looking me over. "Tell me what?" he asked his face impassable. "I'm staying with you guys for a little while." I smiled a little and I felt him relax and his eyes twinkled a little. "Yes!" he mumbled and turned around. I laughed it hurt so I stopped. "Are you okay?" He looked extremely worried. "Fine." I smiled ear to ear as we started walking to the car and his fingers made little circles on my hip. As we got to the car I felt him take his arm off of me and kind of missed it. He slowly backed me into the side of the car and place both of his hands on either side of me. I felt my breath catch. He leaned in really close and rested one of his hands on my hip and the other beside it. Then I felt the car door open. Stupid, of course he wasn't going to try anything! I thought to myself. He backed up and opened the door. I slowly got in and sat down then he leaned over me again and buckled me in. "Hey!" I heard Fallen growl again and flinched. Chase shut the door and walked over. They looked like they were arguing but I couldn't hear anything. Fallen walked over and got in the driver's seat beside me. Then he turned and kissed me so hard and passionately I thought I was going to explode. But the next words are what surprised me the most. "You. Are. Mine." he said brushing the hair away from my face. Chase got in then. And Fallen moved back, leaving me to my thoughts.

     It felt like it took two seconds to get to their HUGE mansion. I was gapping when I saw it. "You live here?!" I said. "Yeah me and the p-.. Well me and some really close family." he said. "That's so cool." I was still surprised by what I was looking at. Now I get to meet his close family. I hope they like me. We all started to walk up to the door. Here goes nothing.

This chapter is pretty short to. But enjoy ^^
