Chapter 8

Christi's POV

I left the ALDC because of that nasty beast but I highly regret it. Chloe has been loosing all her dancers against Maddie and who beat Maddie is Mackenzie and Jojo the new girl from season 5. She thought she was better then her. As if, but she just proved it in jazz.

Studio 19 is great Chloe has Paige and Brooke with her but she doesn't seem the same. Kelly has been spending days writing note behind note to Abby some influencing terrible words and behaviour. Others kind and asking for back in.

Kelly doesn't get it, she fought with Abby and here legal contract and Abby won. She doesn't get it as I said. She is not allowing us in. Oh well there's only one thing to do. Be knocked down forever or stand back up, my options are limited but I'll go with the positive even though I deserve the negative.

Mackenzie POV

Pyramid started, I was on the bottom becaused I didn't do well as the lead in the group. Then Kalahni then Maddie strangely. Then Nia, Kendall and Jojo. Wow two weeks in a row. This week was summer week. Our weekly holiday. I'm going to the beach with Kalahni for the weekend and Maddie is doing some acting thing. I wish she was staying with me for the weekend. Anyway, so basically this week was anything week considering we had no competion.

Though Abby set us a task. She wanted us to do an own choreography solo. Basically an Impro. You can either practice or nah and just Impro it on the day with a great costume. Stuff that I'll do the Impro part.

Maddie was excited. Over tomorrow and the next day she and Abby are rehearsing her solo and learning her new lead role for our group. This is why I was staying with Kalahni for 3 days. We both nodded when she mentioned Impro. Kendall agreed, she was staying for 2 days and that's it because her mum wanted her to go to school on that Monday. She is the one who goes to school.

Holidays with Maddie

Dancing started with Abby and she showed me the routine herself without Giana she was with her mum at the North Coast. It was hard to follow but whatever I did either wrong or right she was pleased. After I had finished I walked out to the dancers den waiting to be greeted with all the girls though they were enjoying the weekend. With each other. Even Kenz.

I grabbed a quick drink and returned to the ballet bar to stretch out muscles. Abby walked in and saw me. She quietly walked in and smirked.

" you know why your my favourite, it's because your dedicated. Yes I know I garuanted Mack a definate for nationals but what would you feel if I took that away from her for you?" I was shocked, a quick opportunity and I'm in the walls of fame.

" Sure but if you allow her one nationals dance or both a group or solo she has to do a dance." Miss Abby nodded, " I am granting her a group and If she steps up this week then yes she will have both." She added. " and for the weeks to come what if she falls and rises will you care ?" I asked. " Yes I will care, does she deserve your fame when only tries hard when she feels like it." I sighed. She is my sister, I nodded and kept the solo leaving Kenzie in doubt.

I told mum who didn't mind, we headed home. I wish Kenz was here. Mum told me to hurry down. I left my dance bag on the bed with half my hair pins still in. She had her head up slightly looking depressed. I wondered. What did she want.

" Maddie I'm so sorry but they........................ agreed to let you try out for the movie. As an actor and dancer. And they want you to tell them how many carriers in your proffesion you have done." I was over the moon! I can't wait for the audition.

The Next Day ( Audition )

I was nervously patting on my makeup and curling my hair when mum walked in . " Kenz sent some pics of her and Kalahni on the beach. Have a look." Kenz is so cute in her pink ALDC bikinis. Kalahni wearing black ones. They looked pretty amazing. They had pictures of them in the water, but then I realised they had a proffesional photo shoot at the beach for a dance magazine cover. Kendall was also there!

Mum told me how they wanted to keep it a secret but I just stormed off. I was waiting in time for my audition.

We waited both sitting in cold chairs with a lot of other people. I was called. I rehersed my script as mum slowed down her breathing. I focused and pushed the door open as I faintly heard mum whisper good luck. All eyes were on me.

" No miss I can't possibly betray your orders. It won't be happening, I absolutely can't. If you believe I will ever take any chance in that I will never forgive you and you will be forbidden from coming near me. Forever!" I yelled the script out to them. The applauded and began to ask questions. " what is your daily routine and your proffesion?" Easy.

" I am homeschooled as I am a dancer at the ALDC. I have won titles and Nationals. I have done music videos for Sia and photoshoots, at the age of 7 I performed on drop dead diva a dance thing. I have also performed in my sisters music video Mack Z Girl Party, I choreographed that and I am in the blur for her song shine. She is also a famous dancer at the ALDC she acts and sings. She has been on Ricki Niki Dicki. A TV show and on a lot of others. Anyway, Basically my proffesion is dancing." They had wide open jaws.

" So your already famous?" I nodded " extremely. Old and young people come to Q/A about me because they love me so much." They stopped me right there. Ok end of audition we will ring for your role.

I returned to mum who was really angry. " They didn't let me finish." Oh well I still had a chance, just like everybody they cut.

Why did I mention my sister. Why?

What gave me the nerve to mention her. I didn't even say I do singing lessons. Jerk! Mum didn't mind she said she could never. Be proud of me for even getting here, as If I want to blow everybody away with my talent.
