Dance Moms Season 6

Chapter 3

Maddie's POV
My solo started and I was really excited to go up against Chloe but also really nervous. The music was called My Dream Is Yours. Miss Abby told me to lay on the ground and Giana demonstrated so I did what they said.

Giana thought I needed to swing my arm up but Abby wanted me to brush it on the brush. They made me choose. " Miss Abby I do really like yours but I think Giana's hand gesture suits the music better." She nodded and turned back to her phone in the corner.  We finished my solo and then I had to run it with the music. Finally Abby looked up.

Giana said softly " Sotei Jete, and hold the Arabseque." Abby watched in delight. Quickly I did what she said and returned to my beginning spot on the ground with my head down. Swiftly. Abby clapped and made me send in Mackenzie who is trying out new Lip Gloss with Nia.
I sat with Kalahni and told the girls what my solo was about.

Mackenzie's POV
I'm so excited. Maddie walked out of the dance room. My first solo in season 6 up against my sister and Chloe and Paige. I really hope I can win, I have even beat my sister before.

Gianna wanted me to do a lyrical. To compare against Maddie. An acro lyrical. I start off behind the wings and run on with my arms holding on to a teddy bear. Reached out in front and I smile happily looking at it. The music is all cheery and happy until it turns dark and scary. I drop the teddy and go into my back tuck. I do a lot of other tricks as well. Before finding my teddy and laying down next to it shaking.

" Amazing Mackenzie if you work extra hard I bet you will get an award or atleast place in the top 3." My costume for this was going to be a blue lace and white leotard. I ran my dance again making sure I was ready for the group dance straight after.

Everybody came to room A and stared Abby down. Maddie was just rolling her eyes, everywhere. Abby stood up from the corner and moved her arm around." I'm going all out this week with a pop jazz routine. I rarely do this but I'm showing that the Abby Lee Dance Company is more then lyrical and contempary dancing it's more then that. If we win this week I will give you a Musical Theatre routine."

We all screamed happily. Jojo's favourite type of dance is jazz so we all predicted she would be in the centre for her big personality. Without further or do she was. I was behind her in the second row along side Mads. Kalahni and Nia were in the back. Sadly Kendall wasn't aloud in the dance so now she was taking Nia's solo spot, obviously Holly had a rage at Abby for it but oh well.

Miss Abby benched Kendall because after solos she was needed at a singing studio that Abby had prepared, poor Kendall.

Our solo started off with our heads down low on the ground. Jojo jumped up into her one hand split mouthing ' Prepare For Take Off.' The countdown started as all 5 of us jumped up from 5...4...3...2...1! We all went into a side arial and leaped and jumped and down funky moves. We all ran to a corner and posed each one of us did a trick into another pose. I did a cartwheel into three back tucks. Jojo did a arial ( no handed walkover ) Nia did a side arial. Maddie hitch kicked the leg and jetted aross the stage. Kalahni doing a side split jump. Into a pose.

We stopped in an ending pose doing the death drop Nia taught us, it hurt but we did it anyway to finish of our ending. We had to all copy Jojo's faces. " Jojo. Great timing this week. Point feet and remember to stretch leg on Arial. " miss Abby was screaming from across the room. I was excited for this week. I bet it will be really fun and hopefully take out a win.

We ran the dance once more and remembered to point our kegs stretch our feet facial expressions. And dance great. Abby says dancing isn't just for fun though some people think it is. It's for determination and your competitive side. Also to succeed.
