(Lilly's 4 months and 2weeks pregnant)
Lilly's pov
It has been a month since prom night.
I wake up to my phone ringing. I turn to see Jake getting my phone.
"Here Lilly .... its your dad"Jake said.
"Hello daddy is something wrong? " i ask starting to cry.
My dad's cancer is getting bad... or at least i heard
"No baby theres nothing wrong ..." he took a pause " the cancer has been put in remission for now"
"Oh daddy thats good news "i said then he cuts me off.
"But it made me think we don't know how long we have in this world and i realized that i want to be part of my grand babies life ..."he took a pause will you and jake move in the house with me qnd your brother? " he asks.
"Oh daddy we live right next door" i say.
"Yeah your right ... just please come by and see me and James ... James misses you ..."he said
"Ok well daddy i have to go ... i feel sick". And with that he hung up .
"Lilly so whats up?" Jake asked.
"My dads cancer is in remission"
"Thats wonderful news ... we should go and celebrate" he said.
"Okay can Gail and Mike come too i have something i need to say to all of y'all" i ask. A tear escapes my eye.
"Yeah ... ill call mike and invite them ... we will leave here at 3pm sound good?" He asks .
"Yeah sounds good".

Lilly left to take a shower and get ready for our celebration. I get my phone and call Mike.
"Hello?" He asks
"Hey man today at 3 im coming to get you a Gail to celebrate Lilly's dads cancer ... its in remission" i say to him.
"Ok man thats good news ... We will be ready and at my house " ... and with that i hing up.
At the "celebration"

We went to Zio's Italian restaurant to eat .
Gail and Mike and Jake are talking.
"Lilly are you ok?" Mike asks.
"Oh ... what ... yeah ... I'm sorry i was thinking." I say.
"Het what did you need to say to us" Jack asked.
Oh shit i forgot i told him i needed to say something.
"Don't interrupt me please". They all nod and i continue " I apologize for ruining y'alls prom night, prom night is supposed to be something you cherish in your memories forever, this is a important milestone for high school, and it was ruined by me and I'm sorry that's something that I can't give back to y'all I wish I could, I know y'all had fun tonight up until the part where my dad got hurt but because of that its not I will not want to look upon again I'm sorry" i say and start to cry ... i can't believe i got that out ...
"Lillian Kay Terry you did not ruin our prom ... " Gail said ...
I start to feel sick because of the pasta i ate ...
"Can we go home ... im not feeling well?" I ask .
Everone looks at me with worry across there face .
"Yeah what's wrong lill?" Gail asks.
" i just don't feel well and in tired" i say feeling sorry for ruining this celebration.
"Ok ... well its 630 so ... let's get you home to rest" jak said.
We got home (Jake's home ... thats where she lives) i went to the bedroom and changed into my pjs.
"Lilly do you want to watch a movie weth me?" Jake asks.
"Yeah" i say and we cuddle in the bed together and start to watch the titanic.
"Jake i have doctor appointment tomorrow at noon... we can find out the sex of the babies"i say .
"Ok Lilly ... do you want to know the sex of the babies" he ask.
"Yeah i do ... do you?" I ask.
"If you want to then i do" he says and i drift to sleep
