Luke raised his eyebrows up and gulped down as Ashton let out a satisfied moan. The blonde shuffled around in his seat a bit and breathed out a chuckle when Ashton took another bite of the food and moaned again.

"This is so good Luke," Ashton said and looked at Luke with wide eyes, "I know you were good but this is just amazing"

Luke almost blushed at the compliment as he smiled and took a bite from his own food. Ashton noticed and grinned.

They were seated at a table Luke had carried in to the kitchen from the restaurant area. Luke had tried to decorate it in a romantic date style, but he was absolutely horrible at this stuff, so Ashton had only laughed fondly before doing it himself.

Ashton had gotten himself out of cooking, much to Luke's dismay, and he had set the table and then he had jumped up on the counter, let his legs dangle down, and talked about his childhood while Luke was cooking.

Luke loved it, he loved it all. He loved being here and cooking a nice meal to his boyfriend. He loved hearing Ashton talk about his childhood with that pretty smile on his face. He loved how Ashton would steal some of the food and quickly eat it when Luke had his back turned to him.

He loved it all.

"Have you ever thought about opening your own restaurant?" Ashton asked and sipped on his glass of wine. Luke did the same, looking at Ashton over the rim of the fancy wineglass.

Luke wasn't very keen of wine, it was definitely not his favorite, but he knew food and with this meal you had to drink wine. Plus, Ashton was loving it, so Luke did too.

"Yeah, I have," Luke said and shrugged his shoulders as he placed the glass down on the table, "I did all the time when I was younger. Now when I'm older I know all the responsibilities it comes with and also the huge amount of money you have to spend"

"Yeah, that's true," Ashton said and nodded his head before smiling small, "But wouldn't it be worth it though? I mean, you have the passion"

"Yeah, but I don't have the money" Luke said and laughed lightly before taking another bite of his food.

"If you opened your own restaurant, I know for sure that you'd win your money back in only a few months" Ashton said and Luke smiled bashfully.

"Stop, you're making me blush" Luke mumbled and Ashton laughed.

The older boy leaned over the table and pouted his lips, waiting for a kiss. Luke chuckled and leaned in to place a light peck on Ashton's lips, making him grin once again.

God, Luke really loved him.

They talked about things between nothing and everything, looking at each other with gleaming eyes and big smiles. Luke shivered almost throughout the whole meal because Ashton was running his foot up and down Luke's shin soothingly.

Everything felt amazingly alright.

"Okay, since you didn't help me with the food, you're gonna help me with the dessert" Luke spoke and Ashton groaned as he leaned back in his seat and pouted childishly.

How this boy could be 24 years old was beyond Luke's knowledge.

"Why, Luke? Why put me in the kitchen and make something so easy as cooking so dangerous?" Ashton asked in an exaggerated dramatic voice, making Luke roll his eyes and laugh.

"Stop whining and help me. And the answer to 'why' is because I think you're really cute in that chef jacket. And hot" Luke said and winked before standing up from his seat to clean the table from the empty plates. The wineglasses were still left standing.
