Maggie (sequel to saved by Nash and Cameron)

chapter 42

Maggie's pov

I woke up and I heard Nash and Cameron again. But this time they was playing. I went downstairs. Cameron and Nash was play fighting.

Cameron saw me. Cameron said "hey baby." I said "hey what are you doing?" Cameron said "beating up Nash." I said"ok." Cameron said "can you get the mail baby?" I said "sure."

I went outside and got the mail. I saw a black van. It looked weird. I saw all the cars and vans on this block I never saw that one. I went back inside and Cameron Jumped off of Nash.

Cameron took the mail and opened a letter. Cameron read it out loud.

"Dear Mr.Dallas

You have a court date with Mr.Ried,it is on the 22. It concerns his child that is in your care. He is worried for Maggie's safety. He misses his child and wants her back. You have a court date to fight for her for now she is going to stay in your care.

Thank you

Mr.Ried."

I said "who is Mr.Ried?" Cameron said "your father." I said "what does he want?" Cameron said "you." I said "isn't he supposed to be in jail." Cameron said "they let him out because of a re trial and they lost the evidence." I said "so he wants me back?" Cameron said "yea." I said "I have to go back with him?" Cameron said "probably."

I started crying. Cameron picked me up. I cried in his shoulder. Cameron said "baby I'm gonna try." I couldn't help but cry knowing I might go back with my father.
