chapter 52

Jack's G. Pov

We got home and Maggie was sleeping. I picked her up and carried her inside. She was so light.

I put Maggie in my room so Sean doesn't see her. JJ was downstairs. I was gonna tell him.

I went to JJ and said "Maggie is here." JJ said "why?" I said "Cameron slapped her again." JJ said " oh my gosh,is she okay?" I said "i dont think so,she was crying and she is just sleeping now." JJ said "she is scared." I said "you think?" JJ said "yeah,Sean did the same thing when I brought him here,he just cried and slept."

I said "Maggie is different."

Maggie's pov

I woke up. I had my phone in my hand. I had dry tears on my face. I wasnt sure whos room I was in either.

I sat up so I can look around.

I know I am at the Jack's house. It is probably Glinskey's room.

Someone opened the door. I looked up and it was Glinskey. Glinskey said "are you okay Maggie?" I nod my head. Glinskey said "what happened?" I said " i broke a vase yesterday and forgot to clean it and Cameron saw it this morning and slapped me." Glinskey said "where was Nash?" I said "Him and Cameron was just yelling at me after that."

Glinskey said" What did they say?" I lied and said "I don't remember." Glinskey said "do you wanna eat?" I said "no." Glinskey said "you sure Maggie?" I said "yes,I am fine."

Glinskey left.

I got a message on my phone. It was from Hayes.

H- where r u,Bryce and I are home?
M-I am at the Jacks house.
H-we are coming to get u

I am gonna have to go back home b7t it isn't that bad at least Hayes and Bryce will be there. I went downstairs. I sat down next to Glinskey.

I said "Hayes and Bryce are back they are gonna come and get me." Glinskey said "you wanna go back?" I said "I am gonna end up having to any way." Glinskey said "okay."

I watched tv on the couch. I was looking at the picture on my lockscreen. I know I already said this but I love that picture.

Zach actally told me this morning that he doesn't want to cut his hair. He likes it.

I got a message. It was Hayes.

H-get ready,we are around the corner.
M-okay.

I got my shoes on. I looked out the window and saw Bryce. I said "Glinskey, Bryce and Hayes are here now." Glinskey said "okay,I am gonna walk you out come on."

We went outside and I got in the back of the car. Hayes said "you okay?" I nodded my head yes. Glinskey said "bye Maggie,later guys."

We drove off. Hayes said "why did you come here?" I lowly said "because Cameron slapped me." Hayes said "what?" I said "Cameron slapped me, that is why I came here." Hayes climbed in the back and hugged me.

We got home. Hayes was in front of me and Bryce was behind me. Cameron saw me and yelled "where the fuck was you at?!!?" I flinch at him yelling. Cameron yelled "answer me!!!!" I lowly said "I was with Jack and JJ." Cameron said "go the fuck upstairs!!"

I cried as I went upstairs. I tried not to think about Cameron and Nash. I tried to think about happy things.

Like Zachary is getting adopted tomorrow. He is coming back in the morning and I have to go to. We have to dress nicely. Zachary is so happy. I kinda am to but I kinda not,I mean he is gonna have to hear Cameron and Nash yelling at me all day.

I laid on my bed as I thought more about tomorrow and what would happen
