1 Ex-boyfriend, 1 Pregnancy, and 1 Arranged Marriage...CRAP!
* Oh, by the way any songs I say Lexi wrote were actually written by Paramore, and all the songs Derrik sings are by The Maine. *
LEXI JAMES'S POV
Preface: Okay so you see, here's the deal, my life was indeed PERFECT! I know what you're all thinking, "Whose life is perfect?" But really mine was, I wasn't rich or anything but look at the facts...
1. The best friends a girl could ask for.
2. The best boyfriend anyone could ask for (I'm serious gifts on anniversaries, flowers for no reason what so ever, loved my friends and my mom, etc, etc.)
3. I loved my mom. My mom did peoples taxes and mostly stayed at home. It was awesome.
4. I was top of my class in the 12th grade at Birmingham high, and got early acceptance in to MIT and Stanford.
Nevertheless, I'm going to stop there, seeing as how you probably didn't have the urge to read my story just to hear about my once perfect life. You all want to hear about how my life went from fab to drag. How I'm on top of the world one moment and in a cave hiding from the CIA, the FBI, and anyone else you can think of, the next (that was of course just an example, don't get excited). And of course, how my life totally and completely sucks right now, okay maybe not totally, but it's not life I once had.
Start humming 1,2,3,4 by the Plain White T's because guess what? There's only 1 thing 2 do 2 words 4 you...ARRANGED MARRIAGE. But let's go back the day I found out about this arranged marriage.
Part 1: I'd Rather Be Jealous than Forced to be Married
"Aw, Lexi, you're so cute when you're jealous." Hank Pearson said, slinging his arm over my shoulder and walking up the stairs to my room.
"I am not jealous." I said through gritted teeth. Hank looked down at me and raised an eyebrow. "Okay so maybe I am, just a little." I told him opening the door to my room.
My room wasn't big, but it wasn't a mouse hole either. There was enough room for my Queen sized bed, my black apple desktop computer, my desk, my dressers, my walk-in closet, my bathroom, and of course a little room for my grey and white, Siberian Husky puppy, Zak. The room was a light grassy green, with at least three windows on the far right wall. My computer desk sat right in front of it so you could gaze out the window and get lost in your thoughts. And that was exactly why I studied on my desk on the left wall; so I had nothing but the wall in front of me to look at, and my studies were more interesting than that.
The only really distracting thing in my room was Hank when he was in it. Hank was 5'11", and his life had three different prime priorities (or so he told me) 1. Me 2. Basketball and 3. Family. He had the most gorgeous blond hair, and the iciest blue eyes. I know cliché right? Oh well. Hank and I had no secrets from each other. He promised me that last year, on our one-year anniversary. That promise was followed by me losing my virginity to him, and I don't regret it. No I don't, not one bit.
At this very moment, I was sitting on Hank's lap on my bed, and we were just looking at each other. He moved his left hand up to my face and ran his thumb over my cheek, and smiled. He leaned in and kissed me. When he pulled back, he looked at me.
"Do honestly Bianca even comes remotely close to you, in any way what so ever?" Hank asked, I blushed, embarrassed. "I didn't think so." He said running his hand through my hair.
Hank leaned me down on the bed, and came forward to kiss my neck. He pushed us toward the middle of the bed, and kissed my lips. I rubbed his neck with my left hand, and ran my fingers down his spine with my right. Hank leaned up for a moment and pulled off his shirt, then went back down to me. His hand was trailing up my shirt, when there was a knock on the door, and my mom came in.
