Part 30: Alternate Ending
"So you just walked away!" Sierra cried from my lap. I sighed patted her head. Lexi poked her head from the kitchen, she smiled.
"He came back...right Trevor." She said in voice that told me to go along with it.
"Of course." I nodded.
"Daddy, that was the worst story ever. You and Mommy weren't forced to be married. You met and fell in love. And Hank never hurt mommy, and you didn't almost hurt yourself. You're stupid Daddy." She said and climbed of my lap, running to Lexi.
"Yeah, you're Daddy's not the brightest Crayola in the box." Lexi told her. I raised and eyebrow.
"Hey! I got into MIT didn't I? And Tony stopped Hank that night in the woods, but that wouldn't be very interesting now would it!" I argued. Lexi rolled her eyes, and picked up Sierra taking her into the kitchen. Some things aren't what they seem, especially life.
