I was sitting quietly as my parent's attorney was talking. All he was saying was bullshit. "And she is going through her runaway phase, and this girl and these two boys look her away." He rambled on, all bullshit. I had enough and yelled "BULLSHIT!" which I would never do. I instantly turned red. "Order! What do you mean Ella?" the judge asked. I want for it, "See these bruises and cuts? These are bruises and cuts from my parents." "Not true!!" My mom said. "What else did they do to you?" the judge asked me. "They would throw their beer bottles at me, they left me home alone at a young age to go to bars and do drugs, and they would hit me too." I said with glossy eyes. "Order!! ORDER!!" The judge yelled. "Custody goes to Hayley Williams." I was astonished, and relieved. I didn't think we could do it. Hayley, Taylor, and Jeremy ran up to me and hugged me. I hugged back, my new family. Until there was a tap on my shoulder. It was my dad. "Remember the fun we had?" my dad asked creepily. Before I could react, Taylor and Jeremy came. "You're not gonna touch her again," Taylor said. Hayley put her arm around me protectively. "I'll be back, I wont be gone forever!" My dad said as he and my mom were taken away. Usually I would get anxious over that comment, but I was in safe hands. "We did it!" Taylor said hugging me. Jeremy and Hayley joined in. I knew I was gonna start a new life now.
